Dudered. It would be a site about broken video players.

But music seems a little bit more likely.

"Sine Maru"? WTF? Why did that name suddenly change after the first paragraph of the story?

I can sympathize with people in this woman's situation, but her refusal to accept the legitimacy of the cops & robbers comparison sort of tears her argument apart. People may not still be dying in WWII conflicts, but police officers and thieves have been killing people since before their conflicts rose to prominence as a children's game, and they will continue to kill people for some time to come. If someone told me that her son was killed in, say, a bank robbery, and that it is therefore insensitive to let kids play cops & robbers, I'd say, "Well, I'm very sorry that such a tragic death befell your son, but it is rather absurd to expect that such a restriction be adopted and upheld by any significant number of people."

When I saw this before Scott Pilgrim, the whole theater (which was not very full) laughed when his name appeared. I think that's telling.

I think you answered your own question by using the word "taste".

" @EternalInfinity0:  WTF is people's problems with Phoenix Down? Down is the soft feathers of a bird, as in eider down. Phoenix is a mythical bird that is said to resurrect itself. Phoenix Down is a feather that you use to bring people back from the dead.  It actually works on more than one level, considering you are in a 'downed' state from which you are revived.  So..WTF is the problem? "

'Twas sarcasm, sir, in reference to above video.

Some of these are pulled from one-time Bombcast/ER instances, so I'll let you guys be the deciders of whether each of these ought to be officially inducted into the lexicon.

Halo- Master Chief, as portrayed by Michael Cera
Funky student- dealer, often a fan of Ice Cube
Win chimes- victory gongs
J Allard- a God among men
Bufu- a spell that you should never, EVER cast, under any circumstances, EVER
Phoenix Down- a nonsensical Japanese-to-English translation with no foundation in any sort of logic whatsoever
Sweden- a Scandinavian nation known for the uniform inability of its inhabitants to produce good-tasting candy
Auntie & Gramps- the most unexpected additions to a family-oriented kart-racing game
That- anything and everything that was E3
Shaq- an ever-present guardian
775 million- amount of money (in US dollars) not paid by Activision to rent the Staples Center during E3 2010
Too Human- a video game
Get bent- a horribly aggressive and terrifying insult
Ghoul- clingy, annoying guy with no friends; very persistent in his attempts to hang out with you
Under the futon- hiding place for porn
