Dragon Ball DS is named from the Japanese title, so should probably be changed to Dragon Ball: Origins (press release link) which is the newly announced North American & European title to be consistent with the use of NA rather than JP game page titles across the site.

You'll never get another LucasArts Adventure game, but there are still a lot of Adventure games being made to a decent standard by smaller companies you know. If you want a revival of Adventure games of that calibre, a better bet is to support the people working on titles in the genre so that standards will improve to a higher level once more. AFAIK LucasArts doesn't have anyone left working there from that era anyway - any Adventure game they made would probably suck as much as their other recent games...

Game carts are cool IMO, especially if they're different somehow like you mentioned. There are various images of this type on GB already - can't think of a game off hand though. Boxart is probably best as it's not worth having a seperate gallery for it.
Not sure what the official word is on it though. On a related note, disc art is probably a bad idea.

Very strange concept page.

Anywayz, I think having stuff that endz in z fitz the bill. Two conceptz probably aren't needed.

Looks a bit hectic and random. Although I already expected a weak battle system given that it's a tri-Ace game & real-time. Not a fan of AI controlled parties at all.

However, it is pretty. So if the story holds up, the weak battle system hopefully wont matter. Voice acting sounds pretty good. The FX are pretty - so atleast the hectic battles will look nice if nothing else.

I never had much trouble with mature games (18 certificate here in the UK being the equivalent.) when I was younger. Was a very different story with movies though for some reason. I also was never allowed to own Silent Hill because of some crazy story in a news paper my parents read about how it has a satanic influence on people.

Don't worry about it too much. It might not seem like it but your parents are trying to look out for you, they think they're preserving your innocense. Sure, doesn't work like that in reality - but at least your parents actually care. I'm sure there are many kids out there whos parents wouldn't care if they were watching hardcore porn at age 5 or something.

I know it sucks, but the age ratings are there for a reason. If your parents aren't familiar with games, it might be hard for them to make an informed judgement about the content of a particular game beyond what it says on the box. In which case they are right to deny you access to such things. It doesn't last forever though.

First person can also mean first person narrative - although I think everyone would naturally assume "first person" to be shorthand for the camera perspective when talking about games.

I think camera view based pages are a great idea. However when it comes to third person it could be confusing. There are shoulder cameras, directly behind cameras, dynamic cameras, fixed cameras, multiple perspective fixed cameras, part-fixed cameras on a track, etc... Personally third person seems way too broad a term as there are tons of different camera systems that are third person yet different.

No. There is no officially announced PS3 version due to timed exclusivity.

Unofficially it was let slip that the game is coming to PS3 on Namco Bandai's list of upcoming titles back in early '08. Before this there was a Famitsu interview where a no comment was given to the question of PS3. After the list (a few months ago) it was stated in an interview (a western mag, I forget which) that the game might be ported to PS3.
They did pretty much the same with Eternal Sonata, they even slipped up with that too, and then tried to pretend it never happened - out next month in Japan. Ace Combat 6 is also to be released for PS3, and they slipped up with that aswell on their US site, only for it to appear as an upcoming title in various PS3 mags, as well as be confirmed as only a timed exclusive in OXM.

Tales of Vesperia is no different... Namco Bandai are terrible at keeping secrets. You'd have to be insane to still consider it exclusive.

Tales of Vesperia is really the only game so far for 360 that could sell well released so far. Problem is it's not exclusive, but nor does it have a release date set for PS3.

For reference:
The best selling of the Tales game in Japan on the PS2 was Tales of Destiny 2 at 762k total, 498k first week.

The best selling game selling game in Japan on the 360 is Blue Dragon at 203k total, 82k first week.

The ever popular Tales of Symphonia, in Japan on the GameCube, did 322k total, 183k first week. (PS2 release: 394k total, 269k first week.)

If it can beat Blue Dragon's numbers, which is possible, and at least pull 150k in the first week, I reckon it's a step in the right direction. If it doesn't do well and instead Japanese gamers decide to wait it out for the inevitable PS3 release, yet another blow to 360 in Japan. This is very likely - consider that Devil May Cry 4 sold 5x more on the PS3 in the first week than the 360 in Japan. However, DMC4 didn't have a window where it was only available for one system... Vesperia at the very least has this advantage.
