Next FF game for PS4: A more medieval throwback setting that looks like FF1, but with an insane graphical jump. Job system. Action oriented gameplay like versus or KH. Large maps. Tons of optional post-game content. Not an MMO.

Nah. When it's a lot cheaper, maybe I'll try it. I'm sure it is good, but I'm just recently finding western games to be less interesting, even when they look really well made.

The choice is still pretty easy. I don't play any of the games on the console(s) that treat paying customers like thieves. I don't support business practices that are so afraid of adapting or taking any responsibility that they would limit my options rather than broaden them. I'm not 15 and my principles are worth more than hot new video games.

If nearly every reviewer says something is terrible, I'm going to do more reading to find out why and if it applies to me.

If every reviewer says something is great, it's not going to change my mind if I don't think it looks great.

Maybe a strategy game where you are paused a lot or a turn based game, like a Civ or a Dragon Age Origins or a Final Fantasy, those don't really need to be a few ms more responsive.

Everyone called the Xbox 360 'The 360,' so I think they named this Xbox One because they thought people would call it 'The One.' Which is just the worst. So I love that people call it the Xbone, because I know there is some guy in a meeting shouting "I fucking told you! No one listens to me!" And that makes me happy.

Even if it doesn't have an effect on you. It's wise to support the rights of other consumers instead of publishers. You would be pretty short-sighted otherwise.
