So, Christmas was actually lovely. Good to see the family and such.
 
However, after Dinner on the 25th, it began. A pain that I'd never felt before, as my top back right tooth sends shooting pains up into my gum. Now, I just thought I'd sleep it off, but how wrong I was. I woke up on the 26th in a hellish pain. What followed can only be described as the worst pain ever, that I've felt, anyway.
 
Wouldn't it be my luck that my Dentist just went private, today is a Sunday, and Monday is a Bank Holiday. Excelsior!
 
Off to the emergency dental clinic in town in 2 hours, all the money I own in hand, as I beg them to yank it out / kill the infection/ root canal.
 
So for the love of God friends.
 
Exersize proper dental hygeine. Lay off the sugary snacks! Brush as often as you can, because I'm sure people who've needed dental surgery will agree that there's nothing else quite so delightfully excrutiating.

I went through an excruciating toothache crisis back in January 2006. It really was a living hell. The dentist gave me a prescription to kill the infection, which worked wonders by the next morning, and then it was root canal time a month later! Which wasn't bad at all.
 
Good luck with your situation, it's a lousy time for this to go down.

" @Fallen189: Dude you don't have to pay at emergency clinics. Not the NHS ones anyway unless theres another kind. You might have to sit around waiting for a couple of hours if you don't get there early tho. Man I hate going to those clinics, had a tooth crack right through while I was at work a few years back. Had to catch the bus all the way into Newcastle and wait for like 3 hours to be seen. Man that was painful. "

My tooth was incredibly infected, so I got antibiotics and enough pain killers to send me to the fucking moon.

Thanks a bunch, I appreciate it. Just took a nap after all the medicines. Already feel a world of difference. But, no alcohol for a week, just prior to new years. What are the odds! "

Good to hear your doing better.  I had a similar experience with a tooth abscess which was the worst pain I've ever known.  Sure as hell learned my lesson from the pain in my mouth and wallet.

Mabye thats how yours works too? in that case lol your health care?  "

I removed 4 molars all at once....but that was because I had to put dental braces.
 
But hey, hope you feel better duder.

Eat some toffee or your favourite, rock candy. What ill events could possible conspire from that? :P Hope your get better though, mouth infections of any sort are the worst.
