@sweetz: I agree to a certain degree that it was blown out of proportion though there were a lot of people to which the game was totally unplayable on hardware that was well enough suited for games similar to Arkham Knight. The main issue to me is for how long it was unavailable to people and how they didn't actually fix the more serious issues with the game when they decided to make it available again. They still never fixed the problem with setups that use SLI or Crossfire and the fact that the way they said to fix the frame rate issues was to get an SSD and/or 12 gigs of ram is crazy. Not to mention the long periods of radio silence between the time of patches.
That's a lot of unexceptable things in my book. I give them props for trying to take action and do right by this stuff but I think this well qualifies as a mess. I don't go along with Internet bandwagonism or the burn them at the stake kind of mentality but stuff like this shouldn't be swept under the rug. Paying full price for a product that's at best half assed (not necessarily by developers but whoever made the decision that this was okay to begin with) especially when a better version exists on inferior hardware isn't fair to the consumer and we should expect better. Its a problem that shouldn't exist at this point and responsibility must be held for things like this to stop happening.
