Platinum Games' sequel delivers nuanced, non-stop action that stands among the best in its genre.
Driveclub looks nice and has a couple of good ideas about handling leaderboard challenges, but the core of it--actually driving a car--drags the entire thing down.
It's been a while since the xenomorph was worth being scared of, and while Alien: Isolation runs a little long, it's a hellacious ride.
I needed this QL. Thanks GB East!
I'm so ashamed in Alex for even having to think about tacos or nachos. Tacos is the only choice! I thought I knew you Alex, I thought I knew you...
@the_nubster: A lot of people I know have become sick from cigars, its pretty common especially for someone new to smoking. It somewhat comes from cigarettes being much more prevalent. You inhale a cigarette but not a cigar so most people just inhale and that is a quick way to get sick.
That music when Dan was going around the final time was perfect.
Well done Drew!
@jadegl: That's really interesting because I've struggled with both depression and anxiety but this is nothing I've ever experienced before. My nightmares are much more anxiety based I guess. A lot of social angst, being back in school, or along those lines.
It's crazy how similar conditions can be from different struggles and problems.

A wild Jason appears! I think at some point I'm going to have to get this game and buy my favorite Marvel characters. I can just see myself treating this like one of the LEGO games where I can mindlessly play through it unlocking everything I can.
One of my friends used SwiftKey and he always said once you gave it a few weeks you'd never be able to go back to anything else. Thankfully my Android has Swype which I find pretty easy to use. It still is learning some of my word use and language preference but for the most part it knows what I'm going for.
Just to be clear, in Dota don't you level up your profile? And based on that level don't you usually find players close to your skill level? So wasn't Dan playing with people who were also low leveled profiles?
Also, once Dan quit the game (if no one else had) all those other players would be allowed to quit without penalty. Dan's profile got the negative mark, none of theirs did.
Finally, it's a video game. Dan was having fun with Dota. Low level, non-ranked fun. Let him, and everyone else, have their fun.
