Just to be clear, in Dota don't you level up your profile? And based on that level don't you usually find players close to your skill level? So wasn't Dan playing with people who were also low leveled profiles?

Also, once Dan quit the game (if no one else had) all those other players would be allowed to quit without penalty. Dan's profile got the negative mark, none of theirs did.

Finally, it's a video game. Dan was having fun with Dota. Low level, non-ranked fun. Let him, and everyone else, have their fun.

I beat Tiny Tank back in the day. My mom bought me the game on a whim, and probably on sale, thinking it was a cute tank combined with some fighting. Turns out it was a cursing attitude filled tank who fought.

I remember liking the game and it being a game that both challenged me and let me feel accomplished after beating it. Then again I was probably not even a teenager at that time.

Wasn't sure how I would like this series but I somehow find myself really looking forward to these every week. Keep it up duders!

@cooljammer00: For me that feeling hurt my playthrough of City. Origins was probably far enough away from the other two that I really enjoyed being back as Batman, especially young "I'll beat up motherfucking cops I don't care" Batman. But man, everything else, no thank you.

Damn, I was really hoping to not care about Final Fantasy again.

Can't tell if this is a battling road trip video game or an action adventure game with RPG elements. Either way this looks amazing. Can't wait to hear more about it.

Somewhere, in some far off place, where streams run clear and no one suffers or is in pain. There is a @zombiepie , watching this Quick Look, with a strange smile running across his face, and the sounds of the end of the world rising all around him.

@bobafettjm: That's how I went into it as well and the reason why I kept playing. I miss playing those games because they are so good. However I ran into way too many moments that felt like City all over again, especially when I realized the map was almost exactly the same as City's. It did make me really interested in the next one. I can't wait to see what they can do with this franchise.

Such a shame this is a stripped down version. I'd be happy to have a new sports game on the new consoles but if it doesn't come with plenty of modes and ways to play it wouldn't give me long term play-ability.

@finaldasa: So every FPS should feel the same? Is hard to adapt but is hardly faulty of a game that tries to feel diferent.

No, but when most FPS feel like Half Life you can't fault someone for expecting the next one to feel and play the same. And when something changes a genre you're used to it doesn't mean that change will be something everyone will enjoy. Dan doesn't enjoy it.
