@Hamst3r:

I'd love to hear your thoughts about Big Red:

http://www.bigred.com/Products

The flagship product is the normal big red soda, which you can purchase in a bottle.

This soda is available in very few places across the US and so you may only be able to get it online, but it is kind of expensive to do so:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/search/ref=sr_nr_p_4_0?me=A3F0Q5EYOM9JOK&rh=p_4%3ABig+Red&ie=UTF8&qid=1320171792

It is cheap to buy here where it is widely available. You can buy a 24 pack for about 6 bucks instead of the $27 online, but I suppose that is because of the scarcity.

If you are interested, I can buy a single glass bottle and ship it to you (packaged well, obviously) if you just pay for the shipping.

Tastes best out of the glass bottle but the can and plastic bottle are also available.

It is HUGE down here in South Texas and people who move here from other place tend to either love it or think it is completely disgusting.

Just thought I'd drop a line here. This is pretty cool what you're doing. Take care!

What are some of the funny messages you guys have seen in front of Princess Gwynevere?

The two funniest I have seen are:

  1. Fantastic Chest Ahead
  2. Luring It Out
  3. Use Plunging Attack

How about you guys?

@Oginam said:

@fireb0x Need to get 2-3 into him in quick succession so the poison applies. Once it does you'll see a purple mist around him or,if you're close enough, a constant amount of damage every couple seconds. Can zoom in with the bow using up on the d pad to get a better view if the mist also.

@Oginam: Awesome tip! Worked for me very well. I had never used poison arrows before so I didn't know it took multiple and even though I had tried to hit him with a few in a row, I think I let them space out too far apart because I was trying to conserve poison arrows. After reading your tip, I only had 2 poison arrows and decided to go for it before heading back to sewers for more. I pumped with him 2 poison arrows in a row with about 6 seconds in between and it worked. Thanks for the tip!

There is a full set of fire resist armor after you go up the water well.

When you go up the water wheel, you will fight a flying bug dude and a fire crawler guy. Around the corner from the fire crawler guy you'll fight another flying bug dude. There is a branch looking thing that extends across and over the water wheel. Cross this branch and follow the ladders, you will eventually come to a chest with a full set of fire resist gear. Wear this while fighting the boss and it will help out quite a bit. When crossing the branch, be careful for poison dart snipers to your left. Cross the branch fast and cross it carefully.

The lady in the sewer bridge that is next to the spiral staircase that leads into the actual sewers sells poison cures and toxic cures. The poison cures are 500 a piece and the toxic cures are 1000 a piece.

Another tip for defeating the queen is to summon the phantom that will invade you if you are in human form here. Rest at the bonfire near the water wheel and become unhollow. When you exit the bonfire area, you will get invaded by a butcher chick. She is super easy to deal with, just circle her and stab her after she swings. After you kill her, you get an awesome cleaver and you get the ability to summon her just outside the bosses lair. Touch her summon sign and she will fight alongside you. If you die, you will need to unhollow again in order to see her summon sign again. If you reach her area hollowed, the sign will not be there since you can't summon while hollow.

Hope these tips help! Make sure to get the fire resist gear no matter what. I am sure it will come in handy later!

When you first enter the courtyard area from the stairs, you come out into a little canal area deal with a closed gate to the left and the courtyard to the right.

You take a right up a set of stairs and then you are standing under an archway looking into the boar courtyard.

If you pull the boar with an arrow from here, he charges and ALWAYS stops shorts on the steps just behind you. Shot him with an arrow, run backward to the bottom of the steps and he will stop just short with a headcharge/slide attack. Then he turns around to head back. You can hit him in the back a few times when he turns around and when you do, he will turn again, charge to the bottom of that first staircase, and then turn around and his ripe for hitting again. You can down him pretty quickly like this. but note that you can also hit him on the head right when he finishes his charge/animation.

If you DO kill him via the head, you get a special boars helmet that is pretty sweet. This works much like the tails in the game, where chopping off a tail gives you a special sword, etc. Killing the boar by chopping off his head gives you this helmet.

Very cool ad, instills a little bit of gamer pride when watching it.

During the day, I'm a father, a husband, a student, and a full time worker. But when night time hits, I can get lost in all the worlds we saw in that ad and more. Video games are my vinyls and comics. My dad grew up getting lost in the world of comics and I am getting lost in the world of Video Games. It's so much a part of my life and leisure.

I think that is what this ad tries to touch on. Through the years, I've been through so many journeys thanks to the world of video games and even though none of it is real and I'm not really a hero, it is a huge part of who I am and when I talked about the old school video games with my brothers, they are great conversations and wonderful memories.

Memories make this ad great!

Thanks for this! I hated having to sit at a bonfire to check and see if I was even eligible to upgrade and not knowing how many to the next level.

Thanks for the info, I'll just keep track and use your 15% number, it seems about right having counted/leveled a few times since reading it.

Am I missing something, or does the game not tell you how many souls you need to reach the next leveling point? In Demon's Souls, the girl would tell you how many souls you needed to level, but in Dark Souls, it appears that you don't know how many you need until it is time to do so.

Am I missing something somewhere?

PS: Apologies if this has already been answered.
