Seriously, though, it's not so bad I think. Take Maia for example. If his game has a 46% on Steam right now (and we assume Steam has removed all "free-key" reviews, i.e. keys purchased at $5 through the Kickstarter), then 54% of the people who paid $25 for that game did not think it was worth their money. That is something I would want to know when looking at the game on Steam. The game is not $5 on Steam, it is $25. So the fact that someone who paid $5, or possibly nothing, loves the game means nothing to me.
The solution? Don't sell a pre-release game for more than it's worth. Or, when you do, don't be shocked when people don't like it.
