At those specs and price point I am EXTREMELY. SKEPTICAL. ... that any game will play at native 4K at any frame rate. Watch a movie? Sure maybe. But 8GB DDR5, even with the expanded bus clock, I just don't think that's enough to support the sheer fill rate of 4K res
Unions in games? Yeah, sure thing! Unions have done wonders for the american auto industry and hollywood in terms of quality, keeping prices down, and the barrier of entry low.
Based on my open Beta impressions (and let's be real here, the Beta was more like a demo of the full thing) this was a 3 star game. I think Alex from the Beastcast said it best when saying everything about the setting/premise is so at odds with the tone of the game that you end up feeling like playing some unplanned thing.
I played it up until I was abruptly shot to death by some ai enemy dudes in puffy jackets. They didn't notice me at first, and I totally could've killed them first if I had shot them in the back, but they looked like two normal (black) guys just walking around in New York having a conversation. Here I am, a white guy with a gun and supposedly working for this shady top secret paramilitary force, and as far as I could tell these two dudes did nothing wrong (so far). So when they finally notice me they quickly start running away and shooting me full of bullets I was just like, "Yep. Fuck this game."
I'm not going to go around shooting people and pretend I'm the good guy.
