I'm really, really glad Giant Bomb staffers straight-up asked Dave Lang the question that I'm sure was on all of our minds. Even though the answer (of course) wasn't satisfying, at least I know it can be put to rest in the sense that the question was at least asked. I was worried that they would just not bring it up because they're so chummy. Kudos.
I've been listening to Vinny for years. Years. I've never heard Vinny get as pissed and indignant as he did in this podcast. That Chuck E Cheese rant was hilarious!
Well... pre-ordering Destiny burned me so bad that I never bought any of the expansions. If/When Destiny 2 comes out, if it's $0 upfront and micro-transaction'd to the gills then at least I might get back into it then. Sounds weird, but seriously their current pricing model has me so alienated I don't want to spend a single dollar on Destiny.
