Bummed that neither Brad nor Jeff seemed to have played much of the original DMC5. Barring some pretty boring level design, it's incredible.
Yeah I'm going to not bother with the video. I don't need to listen to Jeff and Brad show off their lack of interest & knowledge in one of my favourite franchises for however many times a conversation about DMC has been struck up now over the past 12 years.
Yeah no, there are certain games I would value Giant Bomb's opinion on, this is not one of them. I need people more up on their knowledge for games like this. If other people enjoy this video that's great, but I won't be clicking play.
Alex accidentally wandering into the Synthesis ending is peak mass Alex. Truly, the only way it could've ended. Really enjoyed going on this journey with Alex and Vinny.
It really is, holy shit. Alex stumbling into things while Vinny can remember barely anything (warp was the power to damage armor, which Alex had the entire time) was probably why I enjoyed Metal Gear Scanlon more, but as I got used to it, it had a certain charm towards the end.
I did suspect it would take a while to get through this DLC, it's not a short one! Looking forward to wrapping it up next week. Good episode, glad Mass Alex is back.
@flstyle: That hasn't stopped all of the movies from being basically the same and being filled with the kind of referential, fast-talking quips he pioneered. That's why I said Joss Whedon esque and not "made by Joss Whedon."
Does anyone else get the same annoyance from the humor in this as they do, say, Marvel movies? It is all so Joss Whedon-esque just like the movies to the point where the personality of all the characters blend together and what should be dramatic moments are cut short by a quip. It feels almost anachronistic. Also guess this is what finally made me understand what people mean when they say fan service and uhhh I don't think I like it.
Joss Whedon hasn't done a Marvel film since Age of Ultron 265 years ago so no.
