Games I finished in 2015

Hello GB people. This past year I decided to actually finish games I had on all my consoles. It helped getting a semi decent laptop at the start of the year that helped me tackle some PC games and I actually got a better PC mid-year that allowed me to play some games I was desperate to finish. It also helped that I had ZERO budget for new games so if I wanted to play stuff it had to be the backlog (sometimes I had a little money to buy some stuff like a humble bundle or Metroid Prime Trilogy)

Heh, screwed the publishing and it's now not in the order I wanted... welp. Games with writeups are the ones I liked the most this year. The Top 10 if you want.

Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix
Alan Wake's American Nightmare

PC. I loved the first Alan Wake when I played on 360 so I had to know what would happen to him. I never had trouble with the controls and I really like the iterative style of the game, Mr. Scratch is awesome and it has a killer soundtrack. Hopefully AW3 will come someday.
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood

PC. I also love the AC series since the first one but I never finished the Ezio trilogy because I got rid of my 360 right after this game came out. It takes the ACII gameplay and improves upon it, the story in the old and present times keeps ramping up and Ezio is the coolest mofo ever.
Frog Fractions

NOT ACTUALLY FROG FRACTIONS!
This is an entry for the mobile gem called Hungry Cat Picross. (Not good with wikis so I didn't add it)
It is a Picross game, which are mostly awesome, but this one has more difficulty because it gives you colors to fill in and they can be put anywhere in the line unless they tell you that they go together, it is a great spin on picross and one hell of a good phone game.
The Fall

Wii U. I got this with the Humble Nindie Bundle which offered great value for the games and this one was kind of the odd one out, it looked different and felt different. It doesn't play perfectly with a controller but you can get used to it and it is very short so the problem lessens. The story and twist are pretty cool and I want the rest already to pay full price because they deserve it.
Borderlands

PC. Claptrap can suck it.
The game's shooting is pretty fun, when you find a gun that you like it's super satisfying to shoot at stuff, it has a good difficulty and it looks nice. I also finished the General Knoxx DLC and left the rest for later when I want to shoot stuff.
Portal 2

CO-OP CAMPAIGN. PC. I had played the single player last year but recently with a friend we decided to play the co-op stuff too. It is great, while I would say that the overall difficulty is lower than in the solo stuff it compensates with being able to send your friend flying away to a crusher.
Metroid Prime

Wii. It is a masterpiece. I was stuck since forever in the GCN version in the final fight so it was very cool to finally finish it (Played on veteran BTW) It was also cool to know that I remembered pretty much everything about it (don't ask me about the stuff I went to college though)
Anyway, the Wii controls make it super good and maybe I'll play it again.
Metroid Prime 2: Echoes

Wii. I also have this one on GCn and I always had the problem of starting it, going like 3 or 4 hours in, then stop playing for a few days, going back, getting lost and abandoning it, I did this like three times in different occasions. ANd then the Wii remote to the rescue! The game was super good, Dark Samus is scary and the atmosphere is fitting. It is hard but fair. Love it.
Metro: Last Light

REDUX. PC. I really liked Metro 2033 when I played it years ago, I liked it so much that I bought the damn book, A BOOK! So I was sad when the Wii U version of this was cancelled, but now I played it, Artyom's journey was great, the gameplay is more refined, the UI is better, enemies are smarter and game feels like a great package. Also you get to kill nazis and commies and it has boobs.

Pretty much the only 2015 release here, I looooooooved it, a friend bought it and then I borrowed it for like two months so I could make more fun levels like my Guitar Hero level or my Veganpocalypse.
