And just as a note, you should probably randomize the reaction light more, it seems to consistanly change in every 5 - 7 seconds, where in you should have it at anywhere from right away to roughly 10 seconds, a better code would be to do the
Math.random()*(Integer Max) and then mod it by 4500 instead of just multiplying by 4500
, that way you will get a more uniform distribution within your system, also the addition of 2500 puts the randomized number into a fairly finite grouping not allowing for smaller numbers, but allowing for long wait times.  Instead you should have it add a small number (thus allowing for shorter times) and mod it by a larger number (increasing the range).
Sorry that was the programmer in me coming out.

Can't help but notice that they are all console games. Just out of curiosity, are there going to be any PC? Think of all the good ones that have come out....

Fallout 3
Fable 2
Gears of War 2
Call of Duty: World at War
Mirrors Edge (not great, but innovative none the less)
Spore
Left 4 Dead
World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King
..........
and the list could go on

But your getting struck by lightning could have made for a very, VERY interesting post, you would have had the hospital trip, and the rehabilitation, and then the lamenting because now you are negatively charged and can't get near any of your electronics without killing them or erasing their hard drive.

Rambling at its finest, too bad it has no direction.  I hope you have a better one next time.  Try for content instead of just putting out anything you are thinking of as word vomit, it tends to attract more viewers.

I have to say something that has been driving me nuts here, My friends and I have a rule, no names with more than 2 numbers next to each other, unless it is using 1337 speak, then and ONLY then is it ok.  And we also have a theorem, and it is as follows.

1.) 2 numbers at the end of the name: graduation or birth year/ last 2 numbers
2.) 4 numbers at the end of the name: graduation or birth year
3.) any other grouping of numbers near the end of the name: total retard that cannot think up something original
3.a.) xXNAMEXx: also unoriginal
4.) ..............
5.) PROFIT!

So which one is it, out of curiosity, is it you were born in 1993 or graduated in 1993..... but I digress

Yes, anonymity is a bad thing, it gives assholes like me reason to point out the little things with other assholes, many other people struck me in this topic, but I thought it would be fun to hit up the OP.

I hate to be a critic, and I hope you practice to get better, but this really isn't a blog (technically it is, but that's beyond the point), there is no thought and no depth, it's a list, if you gave us reasons, something to think about, then it would be a blog worth looking at, just because you can type, doesn't mean you should, give it some more thought next time.

"It's a simple formula, really. Here are the variables:
g = gravity = 9.81 m/s
t = weight of the toast
f = temperature of the toaster (in celsius)
b = weight of the bread
Ti = initial of putting bread in toaster
Tf = final temperature of toast after it's done
Ep = potential chemical energy the bread has
Ek = kinetic energy the toaster gives during toasting
E = efficiency of the toaster
O = output mechanical energy
I = Input mechanical energy
x = point in time at which bread becomes toast

And here's' the formula, just plug it into your calculator.
x squared = 2(Ep + Ek) + (Ti - Tf) / (gtf) - b x 10 to the power of 3 + 2(O/I) + E

...and square root the answer. There you go. My bread became toast approximately 76.2736 seconds in. Pretty fast if you think about it.

Yes I'm bored right now.
"
Impressive, now we just need to lab this entire thing, I think it has possibilities.  The problem is that I'm not sure if you correctly accounted for the Black Hole Theorem of Toasting, There actually a large difference between toast and bread, the toaster is more of a transport device that sends the bread to a quantum parallel dimension where there is only toast, your bread is put in the same time someone in that parallel dimension puts in toast, through a complex worm hole that is then opened by the toaster, the two products switch, giving us our wonderfully delicious toast, and there giving them their softer bread (these people might not have teeth, thusly explaining why they would want to recieve bread instead of toast (easier to chew).

"Yeah I agree that they should have their own place. There are some good blogs, but there's also a lot of crappy ones that are just clogging up the boards. I supposed the same could be said about forum topics, but at least topics are locked if more then one with the same subject comes up (I've seen a lot of GOTY blogs :/). Rather then making a forum specific to them I think they should just change the "user" tab at the top to a "community" tab, and have a new blogs section in the drop down menu. I know people like having blogs in the forums, but IMO I think blogs are different from forum threads and deserve their own place."
I've seen this with a couple websites, and it seems to work really well, I've contacted Jeff and Ryan, we'll see if I get anything back and to what extent, hopefully it goes through, I know I would lurk a little more in these forums if I didn't have to wade through a billion bad blogs to find either a good blog or a fun topic.  Off-topic seems to be the worst section for it.  I think mods just throw anything here that they don't know what else to do with.  This is more like the "taking out the trash" section, or atleast that's what it looks like at times.
