@tartyron: It's funny, Stranger of Paradise was the like "comically over-the-top edgy" FF game and that had way more restraint (and effectiveness) to it's use of "fuck". I think counting the DLC it's used 3 times the entire game? And it works! 16 just feels like "well, we're adult, so that means we curse a lot right?"

I only got around to playing the first game late last year but really, really dug it. It was one of the first game I ever streamed on Twitch! So yeah, I'm really hyped for 2, always done for now Sonic-likes!

Yup! I've been streaming and I've only ever actually played 2 of them (4, Re2) so this seemed like a perfect excuse to get them and then try play them all over October

Yeah, I've been having a BLAST with it. Spent my first gold to unlock Bugs and haven't looked back. I've used some other people for challenges and haven't disliked anyone yet, though I do wonder when the next character I actually care about will come out (super don't care about LeBron or Rick & Morty).

So, I've literally just finished playing/ streaming every Sonic game over the last couple of months and I've gotta say for "underrated", I'd go with Sonic Lost World. It's really solid and REALLY fun, I don't get the negative reputation it has AT ALL.

Honestly my hot take is most of them are pretty good (I had the worst time with Heroes honestly), and they in general get a bad rap. Like, if you can Sonic Unleashed with a good framerate it's actually really good.

I could watch the original Transformers: The Movie forever. I've probably watched it more than any other movie, as I watched it all the time as a kid and ever since it came out on DVD I've watched it on my birthday every year. I own 2 DVDs, a Blu-ray, and a 4K version of it. The soundtrack, the animation, the style, it's perfect.

There's also a couple of MST3K episodes I can always watch, like Werewolf and Fugitive Alien.

I hope they keep the ending because it's the only thing that makes the game worth it imo. Fixing the clunkiness of the combat could go a long way though. Hope I can still get one of those punch moves and just 1-2 shot most of the game still!

Man I want that Switch Theaterhythm SO BAD. I played that arcade one at the last con I went to pre-covid, and so much good stuff has been added since the 3DS one stopped. If nothing else I just want an up-to-date group of FFXIV music, I wanna play Metal (Brute Justice) in a rhythm game again!

I tried to 100% Final Fantasy X-2 and somewhere in the middle of Chapter 4 (out of 5, MANY hours in) I realized my percentage was off from the guide I was using.

It made the whole thing feel like such a serious waste of time that it kind of broke me and I didn't play any video games for a couple of months.
