I don't know. I think that new 360 design is alright when looking at the front. Side is horrible, but who has their 360 standing vertical? I sure don't. Horizontal 4 lyfe yo. Though it's hard to judge from the pictures, I believe that design would look so much better in my TV-stand than the ugly ass white one I have at the moment. The black/elite looks slightly better, but it still looks like a cheap toy compared to my hi-fi-equipment..
I mean, I already have a guitar, so a game peripheral that acts like a real guitar seems kinda pointless for me, but the game seems like a fun way to learn new songs. Although this quote here leads me to believe that it won't be so fun after all:
"It sounds like the note tracking won't be 100 percent accurate to the real songs, though, which seems a little strange. "
So it's like a strange crossbreed between real guitars and guitar hero? And "air drumming"? Don't get me wrong, I fucking love air drumming, but if you're already making a peripheral, why not make a goddamn drum set?
It may just be the acetone I just spilled, but this smells like flop.
" it is shocking how much I was able to get from this game compared to some full priced $60 games. "
The endurance run is already at what, 8 hours? Something like that. Still lots of story left, plus 40 plus side quests. Few of the last 10 games I've bought lasted over 8 hours. Like Modern Warfare 2 which I beat in 5 hours or so. Though, one might argue that the real value lies in the multi player section of the game, but I don't play a lot of multi player..
Anyone having trouble with Tiger 5: the name is shortened. Jim=James, Vinny=Vincent, Dave=David et. cetera. You have to go to the correct page to get it.
Not the biggest Halo fan, but damn, those changes sounds pretty awesome. I especially like the map-voting and matchmaking filters. I hate that in pretty much all multiplayer games you're always against some super competitive jackass from the other side of the world who scream at you all the time, so it'll be nice if you can filter out those guys.
