I could not narrow it down to 10 so I picked 20.
Rules: 1 Game Per Franchise: So I picked the best game of a series.
There really isn't any order except for the first 3 games. Those games are my top 3 favorite of all time. The rest are not in any particular order.
To be honest this game only beats out MGS 1, 2, and 3 by just a little. They are all amazing games that must be played by anyone who considers themselves a gamer.
Even though the camera wasn't great, this was truely the first 3D platformer and I remember spending hours and hours having so much fun playing this game.
2nd Mario game choice would be Super Mario World.
Close second was A Link To The Past followed by The Windwaker.
Still the best Resident Evil, 5 was a step down. I loved some of the bosses in this game. Can't remember their names but the blind dude with no eyes and the El Gigantes come to mind.
Best online FPS ever!! Will Modern Warfare 2 top it? Campaign, although short was one of the best FPS campaigns I have ever played, so immersive.
Has the best JRPG gameplay I have ever played. I don't really like turn-based battling, but Kingdom Hearts made it real time where you could just run by the enemies without ever fighting them. Add this gameplay to the Final Fantasy series and I actually may start to like that series more.
Also Kingdom Hearts has one of the best stories displayed in a game. Brings a lot of emotion with it.
Who doesn't like profanity coming from cartoon looking characters? This game has to be one of the funniest games I have ever played if not the funniest.
Metroid Prime was a close second, but Super Metroid made all the exploration and music fit just perfectly on a 2D side-scrolling game.
I tried playing this again the other day and the controls feel so clunky. But anyways another great masterpiece by Rare.
One of the most epic games I've played. I really hope they release it again on the PS3. This game is a very simple game but very epic in gameplay. I love you TeamICO.
Great story and gameplay, something I wish the sequel had. 2 had good gameplay but a much lacking story compared to the first.
