As the game goes on the kid starts talking about exploring more & more and Kratos talks also about training & betterment for the mission.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I do believe you can always go back, to some extent. But maybe some periodic gating? Not 100% sure.

Skyrim is more recognizable... by a pretty considerable margin.

But, yeah, like others here have already said, really doubt that's an issue. There are many ways to get the point across in marketing materials I think.

Many games in the same genre are very similar. Think about fighting games. PUBG & Fortnite are more different than most any two fighting games. "Copying" as far as software goes is important to a certain extent. There is a line, for sure, but aside from cloning it's pretty much all good in my eyes.

Iteration, that's how you make a game... sensation.

I'm going to be in Santa Clara San Jose for three days in March (7-9 I think).

Wondering if anyone has any recommendations so far as arcades, games, entertainment, food and all that good stuff goes.

For sure, this stuff in AC is actually making me want to buy the game.

Definitely the idea isn’t applicable universally, but I would love to see more of it.

It’s always been interesting to me.

I’ve played every Bethesda game. Some I dislike, some I like, few I love.

I’ve never given a shit about their bugs or jank. Not even close to a shit. Just... really irrelevant to me.

Fallout 4’s failures in my eyes are entirely design facing, not systematic, asset or script errors. I just don’t agree with where they put their focus for that game, and the options allowed by the story & mechanics felt narrow for what I wanted to do.

@wolfstein_3d: with very few exceptions, I would say just to pick the character that looks coolest to you. SFV is really good I think about making each character accessible enough to be playable when you start. The ceiling/style/tech requirements for each have so many variables at different skill levels. I really wouldn't stress about it!

Like SG mentioned, you should join the GB FGC discord! We are having our first tournament Saturday and all are welcome. Good day to get in some casuals as well, before & after the tourney.

Often tournaments are streamed, and so players will group in lobbies to play their matches so the streamers / commentary can follow more easily.

In cases where they are not streamed, it is looser, and players may have private matches, or still use lobbies (so they can watch each other).

Don't worry about it too much! Just be chilling in the discord near start time and @saft will take care of you. All the player to player communication happens there.

I would have have pretty into this as a kid.
