Alright, I know this might be an odd-ball post, but I have to write something in regards to this. When I was younger, I never had an Atari or an Snes system. I think my first system was in fact the Nintendo 64. I started out playing games at an arcade that was near my home at the time. I enjoyed placing quarters into a machine, losing quickly at the game, and begging my father for more money to sacrifice to this greedy machine. In fact, my most memorable system would have to be the PlayStation. When I first received the Playstation console, blockbuster pretty much owned the rental industry. I remember picking up a game that involved a pink-haired, green short's wearing character. At the time I was playing it, I didn't have any other recollection to the game other than "It was fun, but challenging". Then, when I was around 17 years old (21 as of this post) I was talking with some of my friends in regards to games we played in our past. I have always been a fan of Playstation 2 games and I loved the metal Slug series with a passion; when the kingdom hearts series came out around that time it gave me something to talk about in high school and helped me make a very good friend of mines who is now about to graduate and become a 3D texture artist and modeler. As I sat and reminisce over various games it just "Popped" into my head. I could remember asking my friends "What is the name of the game that had the pink-haired character" and was greeted with raised eyebrows and dazed stares when I presented this statement. I spent the next year and a half searching for the game until I was presented with not only the name of the game, but the copies of the game. To make this already long story short, I have both Tomba 1 and Tomba 2 and I have beaten them about 3 times each.

The question I have is this; have you ever had a game in which you probably don't have much recollection of, but for some reason it just pops into your head and inspires you? Due to searching and playing this game I am a junior in college and I am trying to graduate a programmer. I then hope to go to another college and get an associates degree in art. Something about the style and the way this game changed my life in a positive way, it makes me smile whenever I play it and it raised my spirits when I am in a dark mood.

~Thanks for reading (and commenting :P)

I suppose it could take place being a series of mini-stories taking place using the same way they implemented the walking dead. That would sell well :P

So far, I have been reading World War Z and it is amazing. I haven't finished it yet but I want to make a game based off of this; but the question is, if there was a game based off of the definitive creation of the book. How would the game play-out like?

^ I think bender has the right idea.
