I don't know whether to feel happy or depressed that I took one look at that pizza and thought: "I eat a pizza that size quite often."

The analogy of a PS2 not playing uncharted 3 is a good one.

While you do have to upgrade every 4-ish years, it's usually only as much as buying a console, and the games are cheaper on PC than on either 360, PS3, or Wii, unless you count re-releases. The money you have to spend to upgrade your system to a decent standard is saved by cheaper games, ergo, the money you save on games, you spend on upgrading.

The fact is that the "PC Gaming is more expensive" argument isn't true. It's just a matter of preference, do you prefer gaming on a PC or Console? They both cost around the same anyway.

I haven't had any problems with 4GB at all. It seems to work fine for pretty much any game out there at the moment. 16GB is overkill though, 8GB is around half the price, and what I would recommend people building a PC use. The current performance difference between 8 and 16GB is negligible, and will be for quite some time.
