@Mikazukinoyaiba: Yes I can sync/charge my Focus through the computer. I just find it easier using the Zune HD because it has a much longer battery life and I would rather not have my phone die in case I needed it for something. And no the Focus does not have 4G.
@Mikazukinoyaiba: I know I can use the all of the zune software on my phone but im lazy with keeping it charged. I wouldnt want to kill my phone by listening to music or podcasts on it. Does that make sense?
Did you get this info from Paul Thurrotte's "Windows super site"? I cant stand that guy anymore, if you listen to his podcast he has half of his info wrong. Also calling the Zune HD "dead" now doesnt make much sense since they have not made a new device in over a year and a half and no plan to do so. I love my Zune HD and still use it fro media even though I have a Samsung Focus but I dont feel the need to buy another version of it when the HD is great.
" I assume you mean WPA2 not WEP2, If it is actually WEP2, change it to WPA immediately. WEP is fucking unsecure as shit and can be cracked by any idiot automatically in a few minutes. Technically it is less safe than from a wired connection because you are creating that extra security measure. It doesn't get any more secure than WPA2, and while it can technically be cracked by extremely skilled professionals, I highly doubt they are targeting you. Nonetheless, sending your information via a wired connection eliminates that encrypted credit card information being broadcast. HOWEVER, By using a computer you run the risk of having viruses/malware on the computer, specifically keyloggers, which will send your information to the evil terrorist hackers!!!~1~ Technically these can exist on the iTouch/iPhone as well, but thats not really a worthwhile endeavour for a hacker. Essentially its impossible to know the exact risks of anything, but no amateur is going to be cracking your WPA2 encryption on your wireless internet, and while I can definitely understand how your dad might think that buying things from a little electronic device just screams unsafe, he has nothing to worry about. You are probably more safe buying from your iPod than you are actually going out to the store and buying it in person. "
This is the correct answer. There is a very small chance of someone wardriving around your neighborhood cracking people's wifi networks but you never know. Step your security up from WEP to WPA2.
