Ryan just tweeted and re-tweeted a bunch of stuff referencing the small number of review copies that were distributed, which typically points to a lack of confidence from a developer/publisher.

Honestly, it just sounds like they shouldn't have called it Dragon Age II. Dragon Age: Hawke or something, I dunno.

Wanted to reply to my own thread: ended up grabbing it for $20 or so and really, really enjoyed it. I was initially scared by Ryan's Inferno, but that part is literally the easiest challenge area at the end if you spec deep into Holy and spam the cross attack.
 
Again, really enjoyed this game - very tight combat, cool art design for the most part, and a hilariously serious storyline.

Yea, last update for me was Dec. 6. Guess this is a common issue.

Really loved AV/EotS back in BC-era, but haven't PVPed much since. Never even tried Wintergrasp.  
 
I did, however, experiment with Strand of the Ancients last year and, uh, wow, that seemed totally broken.

Guild is bringing the heat as far as leveling goes. Lots of progress by lots of characters.  We'll be running Cata heroics before you know it!

No need to buy all the expansions up front. Just roll a Vanilla race and level to 60. If you still like it, grab the expansions in order. 

It's a cool, laid back group. I rolled a Goblin Priest named Godred or Gordred. Something like that.
