I can't think of anyone in the process of making a game that are easier to replace than the voice actors. I'd bet there are a bunch of really great out of work actors.

Not that I don't think the demands arn't reasonable. Except the royalties demand, if the devs who work all year round don't get royalties for their hard work, its hard to care about the VA.

I have VA actors that I like, but I don't know anyone who would buy a game just because they are in it. They're not movie stars, they dont push sales.

Too bad PC isn't until 2016. I hope there will be enough people still playing then.

Why wouldn't there be? The entire PC community will be able to play it then.

Bet on the PC version getting fucked by cheaters really fast. I have no confidence in Konami being able to stop that shit after how they handled FOBs on the PC.

Anyways, this looks neat but not my kind of online MP game.

Well, the primary reason there wouldn't be a lot of people playing on PC in 2016 is that why would I go back and redownload, install, and play a game I finished many months earlier?!

Yeah I came her to say this looks pretty great, though I doubt I'm going to care enough to try it 2016.

This game seems more 'elaborate money extracting machine' than game. Which would be less bothersome if it was free rather than really bloody expensive.

I have a faint and forlorn hope that we don't see the whole AAA part of the game industry deciding to make all their games cynical empty grindfests because Destiny is a success, but of course they will.

Destiny doesn't even come close to the money extracting potential of an actual MMO. WOW for instance is either $180,$168, or $156 for a year of subscription based on sub type. That isn't even mentioning the $70 for the game itself and the most recent expansion. And even on top of that they also have $50 microtransactions for mounts. Compared to this the $140 I've spent on a year of Destiny feels like a bargain if not comparable.

You also get about 2% of the content that comes with a year of WoW. Bargain!!

I like how everyone is happy with this F2P business model in a premuim game, that is just now finally worth the original asking price. The next cosmetic thing in the store will ofc be shaders, so the most unique looking shaders will only be available for £$. Good job no one really cares what their characters look like, in these loot games.

But what if those were instead part of a bosses loot table? What if the dances and emotes were also rare drops giving you and your friends reasons to go back and kill old bosses. Lets call it more content.

Also, I fully expect them to announce some optional montly sub at some point if thats something that can be worked out with Sony and MS.

Look at Dan Ryckert if you were ever curious as to how the rest of the world views Americans. He's like an American version of Borat. The character not the movie. He's reaching those levels of culture parody.

That's actually spot on.
