@oursin_360: you had a list of quests and questlines, all with their own list of clues to concepts signifying a certain franchise or entire genre for example.
Your job was to find out what that clue meant, and just surf to that part of the wiki. When on that wiki page, you got a notification that you've completed that part of a quest. Or if you surf to the older parts of the site's video content, you'll find a lot of "first" comments. That was another quest, telling people to be the first ones to write a comment with the word first in it.
That quest in particular was super stupid, but the wiki ones were really fun. Completing a quest gave you exp, and you leveled up your account. Sometimes, around game releases, they would have special quests related to that game come out. And I believe they were only availalble for a limited time?
Super smart way to get people to start using the wiki, and actually made me learn more about some franchises that I probably wouldn't have any other way.
