Well I've only sunk in about 2 1/2 hours but I can honestly say I haven't been this impressed with a game in a long long time. I usually have something to complain about even for the most overly hyped games but this one is meeting expectations. Only nitpick I can come up with is that the horses feel a little odd sometimes...like when you bump into rocks or something. But that is a combination of me just starting the game and I'm sure it was difficult to get the horse riding to feel natural.
I hopped into MP for a bit and it is equally as awesome. Me and 3 other guys fought some rebels in a town. I shot one of the guys by accident when a coyote attacked him and they all turned on me...of course...blaming me of shooting them in the back. Guess I really need a posse.
I have not had one "unable to join" message in SSF4 on PS3. I've really only had a couple of laggy games in general. Even when the person isn't a great connection is still runs fine it seems.
edit: actually this might be because I always create my own games for ranked matches. They join instantly so I don't see a reason to try to search for one. However, I always join other people's games in Endless Battle and never have a problem.
I picked Juri by accident in a ranked game. Never touched her before that...no training...didn't even know her moves. Dominated the guy. Juri is ridiculously easy and her moves are cheap as hell. Not gonna pick her again...
Abel is still my go to guy. He feels like a nicely balanced character aside from his horribly unfair Ultra. M.Bison's ultra is also a pain in the ass but Abel's still takes the cake.
started playing Rose now. Haven't lost since! She's a nice character that takes little skill. Nice offensive and defensive moves. Oh you wanna fireball spam me...REFLECT BE#(&*CH!
too bad I dislike her character design overall. meh....she looks almost like she would fit better in a Darkstalkers game.

Playing as Makoto...I personally hate her alternative. Farm girl or some crap? Lame. M.Bisons also looks rather half-assed as was his original alternate.
Blanka's are pretty hilarious. The image shows him dressed up as Dan. But I played a Blanka decked out in Akuma gear. He has his hair pull back in a big ponytail and everything.
I really hate that they split all the characters up. I wish I could buy individual ones instead of buying ones I don't want. I want C. Viper, Dhalism, and Abel...all in 3 different packs...bleh. Guess I'd be better off buying the pack of all of them. Probably won't buy it at all tho.

gahh...alas....I haven't found any. Either they look basically how I look playing or they are even more terrible. Sitting back and watching helps understand why these Makotos lose so badly tho. I'm seeing a lot of the opponent going into turtle mode and none of the Makoto players do anything about it. They stand there and keep punching to no avail and then attempt a throw but are never in range. Seems like her best strength is her enormous dash range but majority of the time you dash into a fireball or a punch.
Someone compared her to Abel. I play Abel but he is a hell of a lot easier to use simply because he can practically hit you from across the screen with some of his moves and his invincible roll helps a ton. Oh and his new Ultra is ridiculously cheap (you can hold it down to time whenver you want to use it, it can't be blocked, it can get your opponent from about half a screen's distance, and it does a huge amount of damage).
edit: well I've gone 2 for 2 in my last 2 fights....getting there...that's better than the 0% win I was averaging out before.
