@falserelic: Thankfully I seen a lot of streams from the beta. The thing about the meth level is that Bain constantly second-guesses himself When he tells you what to add Often times he will tell you to add something and then a few seconds later change his mind. So on top of dealing with the firefight and all the people they throw at you you have to be patient to make sure that Bain Sounds confident and is giving you the right ingredients. Newcomers are just going to add the first ingredient that he says not realizing that he might be wrong which is going to lead to a lot of explosions. Lol. Gotta love overkill for that

Also the lights serve no purpose in cooking the meth. So when the cops cut them off its not necessary to risk running down and turning them back on

Played a couple hours with falserelic and some randoms. Game is good fun and these were "play it by ear/balls to the walls" type runs where eventually, if not straight off the top, things go to hell in a hand basket real quick. I can imagine how awesome the game is if you can get some good coordination going. Love the randomness to each playthrough.

I love the RPG/class mechanic. It kind of creates some tough decisions in terms of where you want to put your points being that each tree has very valuable skills

The only thing i didn't like is the Mall crashers level (do $50K in damage) nothing felt destructible at all. I felt like i was just running around breaking glass and shooting things that were indestructible. Real weird mission.

Oh, i also don't like how you have to be at what seems like a specific distance/level to interact with things or revive people. It's kind of finnicky. I've had a few people go into custody right in front of me because it seemed like i was too close to revive them or something We were on the museum level and a guy got downed on the roof on top of a vent and so i rush up there and duck down behind the vent and try to revive him through it but it wouldn't let me. The only way i could do it was if i stood up which promptly lead to me getting down. In the same vein, i also have a hard time picking up bags or putting down deployables unless im crouched or looking straight down at the ground practically. They need to make interacting with things a bit more lenient. Don't remember having this kind of problems in the original game.

FYI, the meth level is gonna troll newcomers so badly LMAO

Getting this on PS3. Would definitely like a consistent group of people to play with.

I've watch ALOT of footage of people streaming the beta and it really seems like they've made a game that requires good/constant communication.

With the random variables that the missions have and the different classes/specialities, i think playing with randoms and/or without mics is asking for trouble

@drx25: Thanks for the info!

The Cena thing is just so weird to me. I don't wanna sound like a sour puss and compare eras and what not but with the attitude era and the ones before it seemed like there were multiple top tier wrestlers at any given moment. But now it seems like there's Cena and then there's everyone else.

Even on raw the way they handle the whole "John Cena will pick his own opponent" just seems a huge circle jerk. You'd think if they were going to put all their cards in one basket like that, half of the "WWE Universe" wouldn't be so ticked off by the guy.

Again, my criticisms may be off base since i haven't been very interested in this era of wrestling to say the least but the way they put Cena on this pedestal it's kind of hard to think about which wrestler on the roster could offer up the same kind of calibur if he weren't there.

I know Daniel Bryan is the ultimate fan favourite at this point in time but idea that he'd beat Cena and consequently kind of be "the face" of the WWE just seems kind of weird to me mainly because of the stuff i just pointed out.

I was a fan of wrestling about 2 decades ago with my interest piquing during the attitude era. I haven't watched it for over a decade and just started getting back into it about 2 ppvs ago (extreme rules) just to see how things have differed so excuse me if my opinions/criticisms seem off base and out of touch.

I missed the MITB match for the WHC but sandow seemed like the obvious win. They where pushing the whole "We're friends and nothing will change that" shtick for the past couple of weeks pretty hard.

Kaitlyn/AJ- I don't get this. They've been playing up this rivalry for months upon months. Kaitlyn loses to AJ by submission at payback. Fine, ok. They continue the rivalry for the rematch at MITB and AJ wins again (cleanly) with the same exact submission? Either i was expecting Kaitlyn to win in some last minute "against the odds" turnaround or have AJ steal it. I dunno. Seems like a crappy way to end what i found to be a good rivalry, especially when you consider it's coming out of the divas camp.

The entire Ryback/jericho match and the lead up to it was incredibly lame and weird to me. Neither the match or the lead up to it felt like it had any substance compared to Ryback/Cena feud over the last two months.

John Cena- I don't understand what the WWF (i still call it that) is trying to do with Cena. I get the impression that he's suppose to be a top tier superstar and in a lot of ways act as the face of company with the whole "passing of generations" with his win over rock at wrestlemania but it bugs me that everytime he comes out his cheers are drowned out by booing. Can someone explain why he's such a polarizing figure? Can he ever amount to what the WWF is clearly trying to make him out to be?

The last MITB match was terrible. Both in the execution and in the finale. The only thing i genuinely liked was the Paul Heyman turn on Punk. Outside of that, i just kept finding myself annoyed that for 90% of the match only 2 or 3 guys were actually wrestling at a time. I hate that they do this. There's no reason there shouldn't be 2 or 3 lil individual matches going on at the same time. Im surprised they didn't do more with RVD. I felt like with the lead up, he'd have a bigger role and at the very least it would get stolen from him. Reallyl thought it'd come down to Punk and RVD. Didn't expect Orton to take it. As he waited on top of the ladder and looked around before grabbing the case, i was just sure something was gonna happen but nope, he just casually reached up and grabbed it and then....silence lol

Overall i like the game and think it's solid but there's a couple misteps

1) The Visuals - Although great, the colors are very vibrant and sharp and sometimes i find this to be a problem when trying to differentiate enemies from the environment. If it wasn't for the damage/warning indicator i wouldn't even know where they are half the time. The fact that the game even has a warning indicator as oppose to just a damage indicator is probably a reflection of this

2) The Duels - It's a western so there should be duels but i feel like the mechanics go out of their way to make it more difficult than necessary. You're focusing on 3 things (hand over your gun, focusing on target and being aware when they draw) and two of this things require you to use very floaty controls/mechanics. They should have just made it so that all you have to do is worry about ur hand over your gun and focus on draw speed or at the very least don't make the focus reticle inverted from my normal gameplay controls

Everything else about this game is pretty much top notch. The way the narrative weaves with the gameplay is just awesome. Loved when Silas is telling the story about the train robbery with Jesse James and then he has to go to the bathroom and the game has you walk through the same empty train car over and over again until he comes back to resume the story. Very nice touch

Nice.

I dunno what it is. This game compels me the same way MK9 did even though im not much of a fighting fan and will probably only play it for a week or two (same as MK9) I think i'm just enamered by the fact that the game looks very fun and engaging (same as MK9) and has a robust amount of content (same as MK9) yet im still gonna buy it knowing i'm never gonna master it (same as Mk9)

yeah i did that my first run and it worked somewhat ok but maybe i didn't put enough on there. i dunno.

Also i'm told u could undertow the patriot up to the sniper ledge and he wont be able to hit the generator and since he isn't killed more won't spawn. Going through 1999 still but haven't tried yet tho

Not saying it was my favorite part because i enjoyed it but just because of the emotional resonance and doing a good job getting me invested....

The beginning with the raffle and the couple.

When the announcer first says the thing about the girl being the prettiest white girl in all of columbia or whatever, i was like o wow can't believe he just said that. Figured it was just a one-off in terms of that guy just being a dick.

Then the curtains raise and you see the couple and the monkey cut out and the tribesman and my jaw literally hit the ground in disbelief

Then he says the thing about taking your coffee black and i got SO enraged. I just couldn't believe that these people were doing this shit for sport...for fun and that the announcer being racist wasn't just him, it was a reflection on all these people.

And as the couple was moving forward on stage, i thought they both were black but it was an interracial couple which made me even more upset thinking about how they couldn't be comfortable with one another and how much shit that white man would deal with.

Then it gives you the choice to throw the baseball and all i remember thinking is how much i just wanted to bean the shit out of this announcer but also thinking about how the fuck could anyone actually choose to throw this at the couple!?! which made me want to hit the fuckhead even more and when i finally hit the button the cops jump in and i'm pissed that i couldn't hit him and i'm cursing the game because i'm sure it's just a video game contrivance that no matter what option you choose, the cops were gonna jump in but fuck man I really wanted to hit him. And then with shit getting all wild and crazy just a few seconds later, i'm not sure if you actually get to kill him or if he runs away or what.

I don't recall anything else in the game being as impactful

Fuck you Ken Levine for making me feel in a video game >_<

I think it should be included but it's not a deal breaker. As far as i'm personally concerned, it only affects how quickly i'd buy into a new system.

I've only bought a new system once there's a handful of good games available for it (which usually coincides with a price drop or some noteworthy bundle package). Launch titles are laughably bad for the most part. At the very least, they're not really doing anything above and beyond the games on current gen consoles. So if they included BC, i'd be willing to invest earlier
