How it is strangely what an open world game should be. In any open world game you drive 15 minutes to a mission, then cutscene then driving 15 minutes to a spot to shoot a guy. That's the whole game. In yakuza you walk only like 3 minutes to each mission and along the way you get into random battles, where you brutally beat the shit out of thugs. Heat actions are awesome, stories are always interesting, 100s of side quests, dozens of minigame side things. "
That's about how I feel about it too. Not to mention that these games get cranked out at an almost yearly rate and get better with each release. It's impressive. "

I'm more excited for my copy of Kenzan to show up. It's so different from the rest of the series. Are you going to get Yakuza: Black Leopard when it comes out? It's a PSP title but it looks awesome. 4-player brawls.

Who thinks Ninja=samurai? The samurai are of a totally different social class than the ninja. Ninja clans were mostly made up of farmers and peasants and utilized a lot of make shift weaponry. The samurai are high class warriors. In my original post I said it was cool to talk about ninja and samurai games. Either or. "

People are posting Ninja games because I asked them to. I won't admit that knights are cooler than samurai because that's purely based on opinion. I will admit that the SNK samurai fighting games are pretty damn good though.

Yeah, unfortunately there seems to be a lot of misconceptions about Japan. I read a lot about Japan and the samurai culture specifically so I understand your annoyance.
