While not confirmed yet, there is a decent buzz kicking around that the old man has sold to the SIF. Again, not confirmed, but it seems to be coming from enough viable/legit sources.

So, questions:

1. Thoughts?
2. Who leaves if this is accurate?
3. Where do those that do leave go? AEW can't take everyone...

Do enough people care about this to actually sink the company? A LOT to think about here...

@brittinius: I'm actually in a similar boat (came back about 40-42 hours in)... I didn't start a new game, I just picked up my original game. Still plodding through it, but there is a part of me that's feeling like it's an uphill struggle, particularly as I've just hit the Radahn fight (which, at least in the first couple of attempts, feels ROUGH and requires me to grind some to strengthen). ER and Midnight Suns are the two main 2022 I've got left to try and play through for my podcast's GOTY, but I'm not sure how much progress I'll make in either :(

The two 2022 games I fell off the hardest were Chinatown Detective Agency and RPG Time: The Legend of Wright. RPG Time looks incredible, but is very slow to get going :(

There's a sick part of me that would at least like to try another run for an intelligence/faith build, because my current is more based on dexterity...

I was curious how many of the quests/side-quests people completed in their ER playthroughs? I'm nearly 50 hours deep, spread over the last few months, and looking at the quests etc. in wikis is really quite intimidating... That, and there's a part of me that feels the 'experience' is 'cheapened' by looking stuff up etc.

Am I being a little too self-conscious about all of this? I really enjoy the exploration and the combat, but a part of me gets pissed off that I miss locations and 'content'...

That's the path I'm going - I'm hoping that polish tidies the game up and brings it up to snuff. We'll see...

I've spent about 6ish hours across two sessions playing this today, and it seems to have been rushed out the door, as it's kind of a technical mess, with frame rate issues, and a few crash/progress bugs :( I've had to quit and reload a couple of times, but seem to have also run into a progression-breaking bug at the tennis academy. It's a shame, as I was super hopeful after really enjoying Golf Story, but I think that may have needed another 3-6 months in the oven to iron out the bugs and sort out the performance issues. Hopefully, after some patch-work, it'll be fixed, but to me (bugs/technical issues aside), it's not landing as well as GS did - to the point where I think I'm bouncing off after this progression issue...

I was positively astounded by how much I enjoyed it and how good the writing is
