@zevvion: Not really sure what press conferences you were watching, but it's clear Conor's trash talking is having no effect whatsoever on Floyd. If anything, it looked like Floyd got Conor to break yesterday. And that video is kind of silly to say Conor is in Floyd's head. Floyd Sr. has always been a crazy person and it's never affected Floyd Jr.
And anyone who thinks Conor is the Devil because he says awful shit, show me anyone who says they wouldn't say awful shit in order to guarantee a 100 million dollar pay day, and I'll show you a liar. Every single person in this thread would say worse things for a 100 million dollar check.
It's a real life term that's been adopted by video gamers and it doesn't quite fit.
It's someone who puts an excessive amount of effort into something and as a result makes people doing the "normal" amount of effort look bad. A try hard is someone who puts way too much effort into a school project so that everyone else's work looks like shit by comparison, or the douchebag on a rec softball team with his personal $900 bat that no one else is allowed to look at and who does stuff like running over the 2nd baseman to break up a double play.
Um, I guess I'm an idiot, but I can't figure out how to actually control the wrestlers. Any offline match is always cpu vs cpu. I've tried pressing every button on the controller at every possible setting on the match setup page, but nothing works. How the hell do you play this stupid game?
Man, last night would have been better if they had actually booked the match like Joe pretended they did. They did everything in the power to bury Joe last night. Really, why should he still have a shot at a title shot.
Brock didn't escape Joe. All they did last night was show us that Joe isn't anyone close to being in the same league as Brock. Joe got in the early attack, threw Brock through a table, hit him in the great balls of fire, locked in the Coquina Clutch twice. Then as soon as Brock had had enough he just picked him up an F5ed him. They've been building up the Coquina Clutch for months as a devastating move that Brock should be afraid of, but nope, it's just a way to set up an F5.
All they had to do was have Brock return the low blow to escape the Clutch and the storyline between them can keep going, and all the promos tonight would've made sense. Instead they show us Joe isn't a threat at all, but keep the storyline going anyway.
Anyone who thinks anything about Reigns is going to change at all is delusional. There's zero impetus for them to change him at all as everything is working right now. He still gets amazing heat and giving a massive elevation to whoever he's booked against. Everyone loves Strowman right now. Nothing he's done would have worked if Roman was being booked as a heel.
People are just way too stubborn and won't change their minds on how they think everything should be done. Reigns segments have been far and away the best part of Raw since Wrestlemania.
