Same reason people go to those rent 2 own stores where they end up paying $15000 for a $999 tv in the long run. It's the same reason people use services like HSN and QVC or the billion other buy now for X and pay X monthly services, because people are fucking impatient.

From a logical standpoint i can see why people would do a QVC/HSN buy on lets say a $2000 TV for 5 payments of i don't know $450 w/ small interest from the place where you only end up paying a few hundred more then what you would of paid upfront because throwing a couple of grand at something gets fucking expensive but something like this is just ridiculous but it must make business sense or they wouldn't of done this, it must of done pretty well at those "focus" stores or they wouldn't be rolling it out at all these other stores which brings me back to people are fucking impatient, and stupid.

TL;DR, similar models for more expensive things makes sense, this doesn't. People are stupid and impatient.

So long story short i have replaced my 80gb drive awhile back with i believe a 2.5 sata drive? 500GB and well i have about 15gb left on it.

So i am backing everything up on my TB external and i am heading to best buy later to hunt for a 750gb-1.5TB drive but what exactly am i looking for? i hear that 5200rpm is what you want and then i hear people praising the 7200rpm ones but then i hear people saying the 7200rpm ones can cause too much stress etc. so i am just all kinds of confused on what kind of drive i am looking for. Also i had trouble installing my last drive (everytime i booted it up after installing the drive it kept saying something about a firmware and after googling for an hour i found out i had to leave a thumb drive in the ps3 w/ X firmare to format the HDD properly inside the PS3, if anyone knows what firmware i would greatly appreciate it but if not, it's not a huge deal because i can just find it on google again) It's a old fat ps3.

Anyways sorry if this has been asked, i have been all over google this morning and i keep getting conflicting opinions on the drives over multiple sites i wouldn't really trust so my HDD fate is left in the duders of GB community, don't fuck me over duders :)

How? i answered a question and vented about other changes that happened in the patch. I vented about ANOTHER problem that hundreds are already crying out about, the fact that a lot of us cant progress without either

1. Farming gear in A1 inferno or

2. Farming Gold to buy off AH

They made MF almost completely useless, made GF ever harder by nerfing all the spots and drop % and increased the repair cost that is just out-fucking-rageous, i die maybe once every 2-3 runs, dying isn't the issue, your armor and weapons degrade, 1 run alone costed me damn near 50k and i didn't die once, how is that fair? i didn't even make 50k gold.. you now literally cannot get ahead and it's bullshit and i am over the game. Was it a rant? yes, but i also pointed out ANOTHER issue besides this issue instead of creating a whole new thread.

And the Repair cost is fucking stupid, i did 2 A1 butch/warden runs and the repair cost was almost 100k and i barely make 60k in both runs and they nerfed my NT. I am done with Diablo 3 till they stop pushing the bullshit AH on us because i was slowly progressing before this patch but now i cant afford to progress unless i buy items with real money and fuck that and fuck this game /rant /yesimmad

What should i use instead of NT now? i have just been farming A1 warden/butcher, is NT still good for that? i don't really follow the "metagame" or anything so i really don't know a whole lot.

Whatever it is, it better take advantage of the circle pad or i won't bother with it.

As i am watching i had to pause and take a break after the comment

I just have to take a break after that comment because the guy comes off as a pretentious hipster douche, i am afraid to watch more because it seems like everytime he opens his mouth i just want to stop the documentary and just walk away.. I don't like COD or Halo but that kind of comment, especially coming from someone like him is just baffling to me, he just rubs me the wrong way.

Pikmin doesn't need multiplayer, it was never good (the MP) to begin with so it's not a big deal.

People will complain about anything i suppose, as for the achievements i hope they give you the option to just disable it unlike xbox/ps3, i have 0 interest in achievements and honestly don't want that stuff linked to my account, i know a ton of people care about that stuff and it's fine i just wish these companies would let you choose.. can't be hard to implement a "disable" button.

I will defiantly rent this later on itunes but i am not expecting a whole lot.

There is far too much hype around the gaming community for it which leads me to believe it will end up mediocre, just like the donkey kong documentary that i really did not enjoy.
