WOW that sure is some nice support from an ex-contributor -ahem-
But yezzir, plenty of research was done earlier about the whole 'printing' thing. If this makes you feel better, the PDFs are all press quality, CMYK, 300dpi.
So if there's anybody out there in the print industry, the PDFs are print ready, and our pockets are padded for fat rolls of extra thick dough. ;)
@loldetaerleo: Previous criticism has all been noted. As stated in this blog, there's specific reason as to why things were the way they were. Rest assured that The Luchazine will continue to grow and evolve in all directions as the days go by.
And so here we are, almost finishing off this month, and quickly approaching the release of the next issue of The Luchazine. All the pieces are falling together at a decent enough pace.
Let me tell you, I feel great about finishing off this upcoming issue. Everyone on the team is like BOOYA! to each other.
Gandhi's peaceful protests worked just fine without protestors being beat up. Things like the Boycott movement, the Salt March, and his constant fasting [among a variety of other things] helped bring people together in non-violent ways. It also brought attention to the plight of the Indian people under Imperial rule. Sure the 'getting beat up' helped gain pity, but the non-violence is what showed the world that there was no reason to hate the protesting people.
Also, don't get his non-violent protests mixed up with 'walking with signs and banners' and shit: one of Gandhi's tactics had Indian people burning foreign clothes and other goods on the streets.
If you don't believe that Gandhi's methods worked because of the non-violence, look up The Velvet Revolution. Another non-violent revolution that took place later.
On topic however: I think the G20 summit should be hosted far away from major cities, in the middle of nowhere. If you're the leader of your country, you should be willing to sacrifice the luxuries of 5 star hotels for a weekend.
@Damian: The community is an essential part of GB, and hence, The Luchazine. I ( and probably Goran too =D ) am / are glad you liked one of the community-specific things. As for non-GB-done-reviews... we'll see about that? It's always good to have more good opinions about one purchase decision. Never hurts imho.
@Kowbrainz: Thank yee, thank yee. Also: yay! I'm glad the communist logo was clear enough, and it wasn't just the colours that gave it away. I can now sing the 'i told you so' song to Goran.
@SpikeSpiegel: Hope you enjoyed it man. As for critics: I like the constructive ones personally. One can always learn and grow.
@JJWeatherman: Dropbox was considered for quite a while. We might actually be going that route after discussing the pros and cons of various methods.
As stated before, every portion of The Luchazine will be evolving if possible. Including distribution.
