My 3rd just crapped out on me last week, and I'm awaiting E3 to decide if I'm going to start giving Sony my money instead of MS. I see no reason to continue purchasing hardware that only has a life expectancy of about 1.5-2 years.
Pretty sure if I bust the NES out of my attic that thing will still play some games.
Don't get me wrong, I loved the 360, but I'm not going to reward MS by buying another one of their machines.
" Get a Wii. Best selling console this generation. Less prone to system failure. Can't go wrong. "
Hate to say I already own one...been sitting in my living room tucked away in a cabinet for about a year or so

" Wait until after E3, their has been enough weird stuff with natal/slim 360 that maybe that console might hold something for you. "
At this point I wonder why I would want to go back to a 360 though. I don't play on live, not a huge fan of shooters, and actually am bummed I miss games like Demons Souls, Heavy Rain, and Metal Gear.
I've decided to hop ship as I'm a bit frustrated with my 3rd xbox going to that red circle in the sky. Was thinking about heading out to pick up a shiny black PS3 this weekend, but should I wait until after E3? Any possible announcements that would affect what I would purchase or the price I would pay?
