The worst prices for text books. Ever.

This semester since it's my last one before I get my Associates and I'm paying for it all, I'm only taking a few classes. I can say with no exaggeration that I've taken up to 18 credits worth of classes and have only had to pay at the most $250-275 for my books all together, and that's at bookstore price.

Not this semester. Of course not, that'd be ridiculous. I only need four books and they total nearly $400, if I decided to buy them at the bookstore. Thank goodness I'm not that stupid and bought them all online for about $170.

Considering I shipped three books today that gave me about $120, I'd say that I have little to complain about until the professors decide to not have me use my books. For a five hour course on Astronomy, I better damn well use my book...

Since I'm on the subject, I don't know exactly what or where I'm going to do/go after I get this degree. An AA in Liberal Arts isn't saying much other than, "Hey world! I went through harder English 101 classes than most of you ever dreamed of!" I still want to do video game design, but don't have a hell of a lot of money am an reluctant (but willing if no other good options are available) to take out a loan for college. The hell can I go that will give me a useful education in the field? Are internships my only hope?
