It was just a joke, so I hope so. Nobody would bat an eyelid if somebody made a sexist joke about men being frat boys.
Colin's joke was just another rehash of "women nag people", is that where we are drawing the line now?
The worst thing about all of this are the double standards.
The problem is the "men being frat boys" jokes and other jokes that make fun of men don't and haven't hurt mens social standings. But the recurrence of stereotyping jokes against women (and races) do hurt there social standing as those jokes reinforce long standing stereotypes that still do actively hurt those groups in society.
Colin's "joke" is particularly bad as it comes on a day that is meant to uplift and prove women are important in every facet of society but his "joke" puts them back down and keeps them below men in social rankings.
It is not that there is a double standard. It is that white men traditionally and still do have the highest social ranking. So when groups punch up it's not viewed as bad when groups punch down.
It's a fun game but it's not perfect. No PC release despite demand and ability makes it come up short. If amazing games like Valkyria Chronicles can be released years later on PC, RDR has no excuse.

This kind of shit happens with any hardware, console or otherwise.
The kind of stuff from the video does happen every hardware launch. Percentage wise some machines are DOA. I got a Vita a year and a bit after launch and the touchscreen was simply busted and I had to get it replaced; launch systems just are more frustrating because of the demand and scarcity of consoles.
But I have to add the original 360 was a different kind of fucked, not just some tiny percentage of hardware is just busted, but the actual hardware design lead to the system not being able to sustain usage. Every single original 360 will fall to the red ring given enough playing time which is not normal or comparable to any major device. And it took awhile for Microsoft to admit this and setup the trade-in program.
Well my WiiU version is in the mail and should arrive tomorrow. I really want to give it a try but have some reservations. I simply hate weapon durability and that may actually kill this game for me.
