A very solid actiongame but it completely lacks personality. 0
Lets start by just stating what is already clear as daylight. Dark Sector is the most obvious Gears of War ripoff there will ever be. Exacly everything controls like Gears but not as smoothly. The camera works the exact same way, the shooting works the exact same way and the engine they are using actually looks a whole lot like Unreal Engine 3 even tho its not. Gears took alot of influenses from Resident Evil 4 and Dark Sector might be a bit more geared towards the RE4 parts of Gears of War and ...

Where do one begin to review this game? I dont know where to begin and where to end. You could write a whole book only about the society references, the military opinions, the future prophecies and thoughts about modern warfare, the deep dives into the human psyche and how its affected by war and cruelities or all the smart popculture or modern day jokes that are perfecly implemented between the lines. You could analyze the references to christian religion and write alot about movie and game oma...

Quake III Arena is like another Doom but 6 years later. Not in terms of gameplay but in terms of importance to the gaming industry.
