"Jesus, some people need to calm down. So what if some people didn't like the same movie you did. If you are that upset about it, go see it 4 more times so it could make up for the low earnings there."
Umm, there weren't low earnings, it broke box office records. But, I went and saw it 4 more times anyway!
I usually read up on movies before I see them so, I've thankfully been able to spare myself from a lot of these.
I'd have to say the worst movie I've ever seen was a movie called Dragon Wars. Ofcourse, I payed for it knowing it would be bad. I went to it to make fun of it. It took it self way too seriously considering at the most serious moments in the movie their would be some random thing that was supposed to be humorous but just came across as totally out of place. The whole story was laughable and the effects were second rate.
I also saw Hancock recently and that film was horrible. It started really well, funny, and interesting. Then it took the sharpest right turn I've ever seen a plot take and had a climax that couldn't match what the plot line called for.
"It's smart political move because there's definitely a bitter Clinton supporter crowd that supported her because she was a woman. It's not going to be that significant, but it'll garner some McCain supporters.
I think its the other way around, though - people say Obama is inexperienced, but McCain's vice president has even less experience! For this reason, it's an obvious move to use her gender to get votes."
Ironic, because Palin is against everything Hilary stood for."
She's a chick though and that is all that matters to feminist types."
I disagree. I don't think feminists who are Hilary supporters are pro-female enough to vote for an ultra conservative woman."
I agree with whackmypinata. I think the far left feminists that voted for Hilary would like Palin even less because she's a woman. I mean look at it this way, do they really want the first woman VP to be a hardcore conservative? Of course not. I think this will get some votes from the Democrats and moderates but I don't think it will get the feminist vote at all.
First of all, it's video games dude, you gotta have fun and not take it TOO seriously. The day that people would rather have a super serious news show about video games like you would have on the evening news over GBs style is a sad say for the gaming buisness.
I started visiting Jeff's blog a few weeks after that whole shabaggle. I was in utter shock, and then I found out he had a blog and immediately started checking it every day. Started following Ryan's when he started updating it and I can't tell you the excitement when I saw they put out a podcast. It was the most fun thing to sit there and listen for 2 hours to there antics about games and anything else they felt like speaking about. Never looked back since. GiantBomb is a dream come true for the staff there, I'm sure. But, it's a dream come true for all of us who are fans as well.
It's been the best day ever since Ryan and Jeff first started putting out a podcast every Tuesday. You guys saved me from a lot of depression over the state of GameSpot.
