This is not Cloud's first time on a Nintendo console, he has already starred in Final Fantasy Theatrhythm Curtain Call and Kingdom Hearts chain of memories. This will be his third appearance and it shouldnt really be a surprise, he was constantly at the top of the people's voting thing on the Smash web site and Nintendo did say they would consider anyone that was requested.
This is a fair review for the game, i know folk are going to go crazy because it didnt get five stars but if they actually read the words that come before the rating they might actually understand.
I'm picking the game up tomorrow, feels like they are setting up RB4 as a service which puzzles me as why wouldnt you just make it a downloadable thing then? Looking forward to getting my new guitar as my RB1 strat is looking a bit worse for wear, we never got the wireless RB2 instruments in the UK so glad to be getting something now.
I guess they could work with a similar thing to Kevin Smith when he does smaller projects and ask the Voice actors to work for "scale" rate when working on much smaller projects. This would allow actors who want to take part in a smaller game for a lower pay but it would still work within SAG's rules.
Its a complex argument, everyone should be getting paid more but when you have recognisable names like Nolan North, Troy Baker and Jennifer Hale lending voices, performance capture and sometimes their own face to a massive project they should be entitled to a bit more. You would expect those guys to earn more than someone who does a couple of background voices given the level of involvement.
