Unfortunately, when I hear certain songs, I get pretty vivid images brought back of leveling my Mage in WoW. Other than that probably Fallout 3, because it is maybe my favorite game of all time.
I completely agree with your statement. GTA 4 ( my favorite game of all time) marked the beginning of complex and wholly compelling characters in Rockstar games. I"m on the Vice desk in Noire and I love the plot threads and slow character building that the game has started to flesh out since the homicide desk. Although, I will defend Bully's Jimmy Hopkins. I liked him and found him to be more than just a player vehicle. He had complexity and a good character foundation.
I totally agree with your point of view on Jimmy. He was a trouble maker with good intentions. No matter what he was doing in the end, he was really out for everyone's best interest.
I thought it would be a good idea to have an official multiplayer thread. If you want to host, just put your IP in a post, and maybe what your current in-game goal is. My IP is: 99.1.3.14 password: giantbomb I am currently trying to explore underground gather ore and build up my home and inventory. Hosting as of 7:20 PST 5/23 I am leaving for dinner soon, but I will leave the server running as much as possible.
As one could assume from my profile pic, I have to say hands down that Pink Floyd's The Wall is the best album EVER! I saw Roger Waters perform The Wall last year. It was the greatest thing I've ever seen. And frankly, I don't even think it could be passed up by anything, ever.
I can't remember a time like that specifically, but I guess the closest thing I have would be waiting to play MK online for the last few weeks. The first night I had it I didn't want to try to play because I assumed there would be a ton of server problems because of the overflow of users. By the next day, the network was down. Hopefully this still qualifies, and if I win I would like Enslaved for the 360.
A cool idea would be to make a guide that doesn't tell us what the end result is. Like you point us to where it is, but we still get the surprise. Cool guide, but I don;t wanna read it because of spoilers.
