I haven't been following this game too much, but I really loved BF3 on the 360 before they changed everything to the rent-a-server format. That was really the tipping point for me. I couldn't play a single decent match without being kicked or switched to a different team to balance the server. I'm all for having the ability to rent your own server, but when they don't leave any EA or DICE moderated servers, it really makes things ridiculous.

Any word on how servers will work on consoles this time around? Also, did I read somewhere that there would be 64 player servers for PS4 and Xbone? That would be awesome. I have BF3 on my PC, but I'm completely worthless with keyboard and mouse controls, so I prefer to play on console. Any info would be appreciated. I really want to get back into this franchise.

As the title suggests, I'm looking for people to play this game with because all of my friends are still playing DayZ and won't give this a try. I'm not very good yet, but I am willing to learn, and I think it would be cool to get a respectable squad together that wants to play a couple of nights per week and get better. If you are interested, PM me and we can share our Steam gamer tags or something and meet up in a lobby.

I know there are some stability issues right now with the Alpha, and hackers are even more of a problem, but I still manage to have fun playing. It's a little less stressful than DayZ. Also, if you are a competent pilot, your services would be greatly appreciated once we start getting some objectives nailed down. Message me if you are interested!

@cykke: They weren't worried about delay, just the fact that review copies of the game weren't handed out.

So I was pre-loading Tomb Raider just a little while ago from Steam, and I noticed this article from PC Gamer was linked in the news tab for the game. It seems like a LOT of people on that site are worried about the PC version of the game because it wasn't released early for review like the console copies that were handed out this past week.

I don't personally put much stock into it, and I'm still happy that I preordered it. I got a copy of Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light along with it, and some other nonsense I don't care about. Plus, I wanted to get in on all of the sweet TressFX action and see that awesome hair animation. It seems like those guys worry a little too much, but is anyone here concerned about it?

I normally don't preorder for safety's sake, but I couldn't resist with console versions getting high review scores. What do you all think?

Even though we know very little about the actual hardware specs for the Playstation 4, and we know even less about whatever the heck is coming down the pike from Microsoft for their next console, does anything we have learned so far lend itself to answer questions about more PC-like lobby sizes for multiplayer games? With Battlefield 4 on its way sometime in the not too distant future, it seems likely that the franchise will be developed for next generation Sony and MS consoles. My biggest hope, however, is that all of this technological mumbo jumbo means that the new systems and their respective online offerings will allow for a less restrictive server settings. I think Battlefield 3's use of the Rent a Server system was a bit misguided, but it was a step in the right direction. The next step would be allowing players to get in on some of that crazy 32 vs. 32 player action that we get on the PC version. Does anything we have heard so far seem to indicate that this will be the case to those of you who are more techically inclined than myself?

Move things forward to Cold War Germany after the wall went up. I Don't think it would happen since Ubi seems to like their history pre-eighteenth century, but one can hope.

Nah. I don't think they mean to do it. If anything, their main fault is that they are overly ambitious when releasing tentative release dates.
