why would Ferrari not put on super softs with 21 laps to go? do they think they wont last to the end?

It seems like Lewis hurt his tires trying to pull a gap or keep Vettel behind early on and it cost him big time. Probably should have gone easier and dared Vettel to try and pass. I will point out it has been years since Lewis last had to fight someone on close terms that wasn't in the same car, could be rusty on the strategy of it.

Max being on super soft tires completely passed me (and the commentators) by. Interesting.

Now all we need is Red Bull to improve a bit and get in the fray and it will be an epic season.

I can see Merc being better at quali and Ferrari being better in race being a recurring theme for a while.

At this point it seems best to leave Vettel out as long as he is doing around his best times hoping Max and Kimi will hold Lewis up.

Ferrari better on tires?

Scratch that, looks like he is going to start from the back of the grid! That will be a good test of how overtaking is.
