Not sure about this strategy for Vettel. It seemed that Ferrari had the pace this weekend to keep a Merc behind on the track, but instead they are going for a pass on track? That seems...... odd. Just match the front runner strategy and force Hamilton to have to pass you.

Seems like Vettel and Ricciardo are losing out by staying out on their second stint here.

The narrative about Ferrari has been poor strategy putting them on the back foot, but I'm beginning to think its maybe the opposite. Maybe the car is worse than we thought and they were overachieving previously. It has been really only Mercedes that has been saying that Ferrari is any threat or doing well with their development. I mean Kimi ran a perfectly solid race and was passed by a Merc that after the opening lap was in dead last. It just seems to me now that their car has been overrated all season. Red Bull has full on passed them up with engine gains.... but the Renault engine is still by all accounts lesser than the Ferrari one.

At this rate I would almost bet that next year the Maclaren is better than the Ferrari.
