" Yesterday I was browsing in a Gamestop on my break and overheard a conversation between a customer and the guy working there. Usually the conversations I hear in the Gamestop are particularly stupid (ex. selling a refurbished 360 to an unsuspecting mother when the slim is available) but on this day I got a look at one of their many other selling techniques. The discussion was about the new Medal of Honor game and the guy working there was pushing a pre-order on the customer. He was telling this customer that the guys who made Modern Warfare 2 left Infinity Ward to make this new Medal of Honor game. Now I understand they used to make Medal of Honor games but I'm pretty sure that's not what they are doing now, I think they are starting their own studio, Respawn Entertainment or something... Gotta love the selling techniques being utilized here, maybe they'll start selling that battletoads game everyone is waiting for next. Kewl stori rite? "

If that isnt  "malicious intent" i dont know what is...not everyone is as up-to-date on games as we are. That person got the short end of the stick forreal. And if he/she opened it they cant return it.

I cant wait to play more Alan Wake. I hope they continue to put out DLC for the game over the time period in-between full-blown games. I like that approach alot. Either way, More A.W=A great thing.

" You can keep your alan awake on consoles, you abandoned pc just to have an exclusive on the xbox360. I hope it continues to sell horribly and the screenshots i've seen looks aweful. Until you port it to the pc, then you will see what it's really capable of. Excuse my bitter tone, this company promised a directX10 pc game with great graphics then cancels it. "

I saw what "Its really capable of" on 360...

It all depends on where you live and who works their. In the OP's case, that Gamestop would be classified as" A place I wouldn't even wanna die in." My Gamestop on the other hand has cool people that KNOW WHAT THEIR TALKING ABOUT!

Agreed. No argument there...But BESIDES the self defense portion, the actual survival techniques they use are pretty cool. Like how to get drinking water, electricity and such. "
Just remembered this, did you notice how the annoucer didn't say "the actors have been instructed not to harm the colonists" (like last season) and instead said "they have been told to use force if necessary" Doesn't that mean they can use force? "
Yea I noticed that. This seasons seems way more brutal than last season. As you said earlier they did get pepper sprayed and they got rough with the colonist. Of course people cant get killed, why would anyone think they could? The colonists on the other hand dont seem like their ready for whats ahead. The first seasons colonist were great at surviving. IDK, I just dont like them for some reason....

They aren't allowed to physically harm them. But the colonist DON'T know that.@Manhattan_Project said:

Yeah they are.

@KingdomKey: I love the show but I missed last nights episode hopefully they will re-air it. "
Its was cool. They got electricity using the biofuel from pig fat. And yea, Discovery runs soooo many re-runs so I assume they will re-air it.

Does anyone else on these boards watch this show? Its on Discovery. The premise is Its a controlled experiment to see if people can survive after a viral outbreak. The first season was great and some of the contraptions those colonist came up with were pretty neat. If you dont know about it you should check it out.

I cant find one negative thing about it. Its a win/win for everyone. We get to have fun completing quests and getting XP and they get to advertise the product in a way that fits perfectly with the site.

I vote "yay"

What he said. I generally associate hit points with numbers, especially RPGs who like their numbers. Whereas health would be something you see like red borders or blurred vision a la Modern Warfare 2. They both deal with the same thing but displayed in different styles. In short, I would keep them both. "
Agreed. Wouldnt it be weird to see your health displayed in numerical form in MW2 for example?
Some games just dont work with that kinda style. FPS's are too fast pace for you to do all the math in your head.
