Things that the quest system needs

  1. Some goddamn variables for each part of the quest. Having to dig around in the 6 pages of games that Jeremy Soule worked on just to find two specific ones ain't that fun
  2. An option to get clearer/more specific tips, but at a cost of some XP
  3. This might be a bit crude to ask for, since this is already a awesome enough thing, but how about some rewards for gaining levels? So instead of gettin a level 3 fireball with 1.3X damage over 5 secs you get some small reward like a custom forum avatar, or the ability to send someone a rude and foul pm without getting banned.

These are really my only problems with this system, and they ain't big for that matter, but I hope atleast one of the will get adressed in some way in the future

4.     A minimum word count for blog posts. Fucking ridiculous the amount of crappy blogs that have popped up today. Guess people could just keep them private or something but that seems like too much of an ask for some.

Need some forum titles,  after you gain certain levels. :)

@Kowbrainz: Absolutely. I do understand that they do it so people actually use the stuff they've built but this seems to only have encouraged spam rather than a propper utilisation of the blog feature.

I could have easily written "Gb bes site eva! quests k00l kthnxbai" and that would have been it, but I waited untill I actually had something mildly interresting to put up.

@Marz:
That might be a good idea, that would atleast be better than what most forums do wich is that they tie title aquirements to the number of posts you have, which encourages even more spam than the quest system ever will.

May this rule applies to blogs that get published.  Since I mainly don't publish my blogs, can i not haz this rule?  :)

@Kowbrainz: Or maybe a way to rate them?  That way it didn't matter how long they were (cut and paste more gibberish) but rather if enough people liked what you were saying you'd get some sort of recognition for that.

I wouldn't mind the clues being a bit more clever and less about rooting through the lists.  Some of the clues seem to betray their own titles (Founding Fathers suggests Nolan Bushnell to me, not what was in there).  Makes things a bit dispiriting rather than fun at times.
