Yeah, I went back and listened to some random GB video from 2015 and that one sounded better. I know nothing about audio, so I'll just say the voices in this video hurt my ears.

Giant Bomb don't like games that take 15 hours to get good, so in a way their much-the-same GOTY process is cutting satire of the modern video game industry.
The idea that games or tv shows that take too long to get good aren't respecting your time is a great idea. This GOTY format doesn't respect our time. As @humanity said earlier in this thread, they took our complaints from last year and decided not to make any changes.
This strikes me as the Google Stadia of Half-Life games. It's like Valve is creating a market and hoping people will buy into it. I'm not saying it's a bad thing that it exists, but creating a product that can be enjoyed by less than 2% of Steam users is a bit niche.
