Woot college. I'm starting at USC this August. I'm not bringing any consoles, but from what I've recommend just bring a small t.v. that you can comfortably see. Space is a premium in college dorms. I was lucky enough to find out my roommate early because of the system at USC, he seems like a neat guy!

Oh, and don't forget power strips! I'm definitely bringing one, you never know when you need more plugs....

Yup just read about this on Kotaku earlier today. Looks like the Producer is the guy from Dark Knight, Charles Roven, and his co-producer will be Chris Metzen as Vincenzo said. I'm looking really forward to this actually, the Warcraft universe is full of some great lore and characters, and both the director and producer are guys experienced and skilled with taking franchises and succesffully putting them on the big screen. With an actual Bliizzard guy up there with them I think this movie has some potential to be really great. I'm going to guess Live Action, but my hopes is they go Lord of the Rings and film on location rather than a 300 green screen all the way movie.

I remember before on I think the 1up Podcast when it was still 1up Yours where Blizzard was hoping to see the movie go in the direction of a quest/ movie instead of a war movie. Anyone have a preference? I think a quest movie would suit the franchise more, and would be easier to take in for the general public. Then you make a sequel with a big-ass war after more people are acquainted with some of the intricacies of the fiction that a quest movie would be able to deliver.

I'm new to the site and podcast, so the most memorable quotes I remember are "Pow Block, anyone?" and the jokes they were making about a guy masturbating to Milo XD

Well, other than game releases coming up, you need to remember there's also some great older 360 exclusives you can pick up. Plus I think the features on the 360 in regards to other multimedia are better and more streamlined than on the PS3, if that is of any importance to you.

Here's some characters that I think we can learn some sort of life lesson from. Do you have any characters that you think can actually teach valuable life lessons?

Wander

Now, Wander is an interesting character. On one hand, you have a man willing to do anything it takes to save his woman, even if it involves slaying a few colossi that aren't even looking for a fight in the first place. On the other, you have to wonder, when is far enough, far enough? For one, he's stolen some legendary sword and entered a FORBIDDEN LAND. Plus, with each kill he becomes less and less human. While I don't want to spoil how the game ends (for those four people who haven't played Colossus yet), the character makes you wonder, how far are you willing to go?

Mario

"Your princess is in another castle!" Mario is a man of persistence, to say the least. His beloved Peach is taken away from him time and time again, and he always rises to the occasion to save her, even if it involves going through countless castles before finding the right one. Sure, he might not be the best at navigating (else he would've found the castle she was in first!) but nothing can beat his can-do attitude.

Niko Bellic

Niko Bellic is a man who has practically lived in hell. An ex-soldier, problems continue to follow him as he moves to Liberty City. Niko tries to live decently, and can be caring to those close to him and horrible to his enemies. He is proof that in a world on fire it is still possible to hold onto values such as family, goodwill, and decency.

@dbz1995: For me it's a tossup between Dragonball Evolution and Push. Both of those movies made me gag a little.

Well if we're not counting the in-browser online chess games, then Counter-Strike, definitely. We used to play the lego map all the time haha. That along with de_dust of course.

@Meowayne:

Uhm, excuse me? I think from your perspective you're saying FPS's are unable to provide artists and designers with the medium necessary to show their creativity? HELLO! Bioshock did all of that when it came out, interactive storytelling with amazing audio and visuals! Bioshock 2 just got delayed because they wanna take their time to perfect the game, which no doubt includes getting the game to surpass the creativity and athmosphere of the first game. Ken Levine is even working on something new which, and I quote Gamasutra, "Levine's new game is 'substantially more ambitious'," which is saying something seeing how ambitious and genre-pushing Bioshock (and to an extent its roots as System Shock) was.

The right people ARE given the time and money they need, when the situation arises. Bioshock 2 like I said, is being given just that.
