PS4. Missed out on the collector's edition (one with all of the awesome stuff, including a model of Snake's robotic arm), but still have a copy of the Day One Edition coming on the 1st. Would get the game on PC (so I could have better settings/try mods), but I don't have a gaming PC as of now to be able to play it.
Gamestop put online orders for the CE up recently. I have the CE for PS4 coming through Best Buy with Gamer's club's but yeah my ps4 fans get kinda loud plus my best friend is getting the Xbone version eventually so I'm kinda torn about my choice (I also like achievements and don't care about trophies). I'll probably do my first play through on PS4 and pick up the Xbone version later after I sell the PS4 copy when I finish. If I had a PC I would get that instead. I already beat ground zeroes and its side missions on 360, Xbone and PS4. I'm ready to play this game.
If you look up your purchase history on xbox.com you can sort by game type (demos, full games arcades). If you just google "xbox view downloads" click the xbox site and then click the link to purchase history, that should help you find what you're looking for. You can also look up the purchase history on the 360 but that's not easily sortable and will show you everything in reverse chronological order from most recent to oldest.
If I remember correctly the last time Cara Ellison was on Bombing the AM she ways saying something about being in New York early 2015 and her work situation was unclear. It may just be me recklessly connecting some dots, but it would be rad if she was the third GBeast Editor.
The name I keep hearing is Cara Ellison's. GB tapping her would make the most sense given the current climate. Whether Jeff wants to admit it or not, I would have to believe that Brianna Wu's name shaming on MSNBC obviously provoked a reaction and statement. GB was notorious for stating silent on political sensitive matters before then with a few of patrick's write ups being the only outliers. Many prefer this because discussing politically sensitive matters are divisive and most of the time have little to do with the games themselves. However, there are groups which view neutrality and silence tantamount to attacks on their ideals. GB is owned by a large corporation which needs to exude a public image of inclusiveness. I would be hard pressed to believe there was not pressure on GB from the higher ups at CBS to hire outside its current group composition. I find it unlikely that they would go with another white male regardless of the quality of their work. Before someone says that the preferential hiring of individuals based on a limited subset of superficial factors outside of skill, prestige, or merit is wrong let me say, what I have stated that I believe will happen is not an endorsement of those views but rather what I see as a realistic outcome. I would have to say as an aside, I have not cared for Cara Ellison in the limited outlets I have seen her in, nor do I think she would mesh well with the crew at large. This is not an indictment against her nor the people her enjoy her work, just a matter of personal preference. Furthermore, if she is hired, I would give her the same consideration and chance that I gave to GB's recent hires. Perhaps in the end, it won't be her but again, it seems unlikely that the pressure exuded on GB in the past few months would go without notice or consideration towards hiring from a more limited pool of candidates.
