Yes I did. I have always been a fan of the FF series and this on the 360 made me even happier to know that I don't have to spend $500 to play it anymore.:D

Yes you can submit a character page for the moderators to approve, by going to the characters section and select to add a new character. If you character is submitted, then you can edit it's information and add it to the game's character page you want.
