Like 99% of the people on this site, I'm a gamer. I have been since I was 4, and I don't think I'm quitting anytime soon. Gaming is more than a way to pass the time for me, it's my main hobby. Why most people read books, watch movies, and draw, I play video games. Mind you, I have other hobbies, but this is a video games site, so why would I waste time talking about those?
I'm interested in any game that isn't a racing, sports, or RTS game. I have no favorite system, but I've drifted away from handhelds as of late. Games with a good story are my absolute favorites, but I have a spot in my heart for the mindless hack 'n' slash. Being a firm believer that video games are art, however, I always go for the story over anything. A good story doesn't have to be original, it just has to be relate-able, believable, and focus on emotions of the characters. Of course, the gameplay has to be good, too, but that should be a given.
What else....multiplayer is a love/hate thing for me. I like multiplayer with friends, sometimes even competitive, but I'm so...not good at it, that I shy away from it. I like co-op more, and I'm a team player. I'm not the guy that keeps tripping you up in co-op because it's hilarious. I actually work with you. Because of this, I don't play co-op much. Everyone seems to disagree with my logic of actually working together (Or maybe I'm terribly unlucky).
That's all I can think of. So...nice to meet you, and congratulations on actually reading all of this!
