I have all my Steam games which include the Rockstar pack, Orange Box, and a variety of others, on a sepearte Harddrive. A little bit of a pain setting it up etc, but it's better than actually having it on my computer. I hate Steam sometimes, damn sales. That is where most of memory has gone to.
Games like Starcraft, Grim Fandango or any older games, I have installed on my actual PC, becuase they take up less space.
As the title says, does the girl enjoy you talking, mentioning or even playing games around her? I'll say this now, mine doesn't approve. She bought me Persona 4 for my birthday, and watch me play- baffled look on her face. I asked her if she'd enjoy participating in a video game session- baffled look on her face- and agreed.
Firing up Halo 3, (it was quick to hand,) we entered a deathmatch with each other. "WHAT DO I DO?! THIS IS SO GAY! WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU FIND SO FUN?!" But imagine a whiney Jewish Princess voice.
*COUGH* MY YOUTUBE VIDEO PLUG *COUGH* But here is an example of what I mean...
Please excuse the awfulness.
But, I was baffled when she said if I play with her around, she wouldn't be impressed, I guess I shouldn't have told her that I spent 120 pounds on the Modern Warfare 2 Prestige edition?
So what about you guys, gals, and what not. Tell me your girlfriend's view.
I've heard many a good thing about this game, but being sucked into Modern Warfare and Brutal Legend hype, this sort of went undetected on my radar. Though looking at it, and seeing a few of the cutscenes, etc, it still doesn't impress me enough to purchase the console needed.
If I were to buy a PS3, I would most likely buy this AFTER I had played MGS4, Killzone 2 and inFamous. I'm just more intrigued over them than I am this- being a huge MGS fan...
But it looks good, and the story seems pretty awesome, but it wouldn't make me make room next to my Xbox.
I'd like to see Disney strive to change the image Mickey has. I mean, how many six year olds are ever actually going to beg for this anyway? Disney could make some subtle changes to make it a little darker then you know the Mouse today, yet keep it kid friendly. We'll see.
Having seen that Disney bought out Marvel in some buisness plan which could lead to several things, and in my opinion and many others, to grasp that section of audience they don't control, are Disney doing the same with the video game genre too?
Because come to think about it, this doesn't exactly look like my 6 year old sister will look at it and go, "Mickey! I want to see!" Infact, I think she was quite petrified that the high voiced mouse is now drawn and placed into a world such as this when I showed her. My friend, -who actually doesn't play anything that won't creep him out or is a big testorone filled game- said he'd be intrigued to see if it is a little sinister. Could we be seeing another side to Disney through this "sinister" and "evil" looking game?
