@keirgo: Yeah, I really wanted to know, too. Also, it's super crazy suddenly seeing Adam Sessler on Skype on some random Saturday morning. Life is weird.
I recently sat down and talked with Adam Sessler for over an hour about life, X-Play, games, modern games media, and his favorite 2017 titles (he's in love with Horizon: Zero Dawn).
Also, one cool note: He really, really loves Austin Walker's work. He mentioned he wants to be on a podcast with him, so if we can make that happen, we totally should.
It was crazy talking to Adam for as long as I did since I used to watch him spout video game wisdom on a daily basis when I was in high school (and loved when he was on the Bombcast). If you too were an X-Play fan, I really think you'll appreciate everything he has to say.
@vegetashonor: Thanks, dude! This is my third with someone from the GB crew (did a few with GB friends like Will Smith, Adam Boyes, and Justin McElroy.)
I've had Alex and Vinny talk shop on my podcast in the past, so I thought it was only right to close the Giant Bomb East loop by interviewing international man of mystery, Dan Ryckert!
Dan was nice enough to talk to me for about an hour about moving to New York, his relationship with the Giant Bomb community, the differences between breaking into the industry now and when he first got hired, how he pitches new features to the team, and his upcoming Taco Bell wedding.
As always, I super appreciate how supportive you guys have been of these podcasts. The episodes with the Giant Bomb crew are always my biggest. Please let me know if you have any questions for me. I'll be checking this post!
