In my opinion it looks a lot better than it did at E3 '08. The switch to the cel shading is definitely a plus here and gives it some identity. Hopefully the game itself matches the visuals.
" Isn't it a bit silly to say, you've added all the weight options? If you have added everything I very much doubt there is anything you could do to get it even heavier. "
I know it sounds strange, but it's the heaviest car in my armada and I don't want to buy some shitty tank just for this one event.
I've been using Bootcamp on my MBP for a while now for all things Steam and it actually works flawlessly. I guess I'm just too lazy for this constant switching now that Mac is my main OS. So a Mac release would be very welcome.
I know it sounds strange but I have this Aston Martin DB9 weighing at 1740kg and I want to use it at the heavyweight open event in the proving grounds section. The requirement is 1746kg. I already installed all of the weight increasing upgrades.
" Have you seen the new Burnout? Whenever you crash into another car, you enter into a random battle with them. Crash into them enough times in battle, and the car performs its limit break: Omnibus :P. "
Haha, it would be hillarious if every crash in Paradise ended up in a turn based battle.
" No story and universe = not rpgRPGs aren't rpgs because of experience, that's a horrible definition. Hell, we don't even classify things like Marvel: UA as a rpg. "
You're a driver in this parallel universe, going after the world title? ;)
Jokes aside, you are correct. The term RPG might not be the perfect way to classify it, still the grinding, leveling up, rising challenge and other typical "RPG" elements are prevalent in most racing games, which in my opinion definitely adds to the genre.
